I ordered from Amazon last night from the link provided. However, I had an offer in with a seller on Discogs to purchase both 1962-66 and 1967-1970 for $20 each if they could be shipped together. Heard back from the seller today who accepted my offer, so I ended up canceling my Amazon order. It's tough finding the 1967-1970 for a decent price - even Amazon currently wants $30+ for it.

My reason for posting this here is...don't forget about the other outlets that exist to us as buyers - you may stumble across better deals when you are able to combine purchases such as I did on sites like Discogs and such.

Well, that's good enough for me! :D

Heh, J/K mate :) I checked it out on Google, it basically is the soundtrack to a video game. LOTS of drums... A bit repetitive for my taste, but I would guess that the sound quality is pretty good. Running time is just shy of 2 hours.

I’m in the market for a new cartridge. I don’t want to spend over $100. I love my AT95E (though I don’t love the green stylus) and almost ordered this AT95EX until I saw how many were available via Amazon warehouse:

Is this indicative that AT95EX cartridges are commonly returned soon after they’re been purchased?

Hmmm... very good question mate! I am not familiar with this one; perhaps some here are. FWIW, the only thing that I might mention based upon my scant and wretched knowledge, is that you may wish to consider a Line Contact cartridge rather than an elliptical, since it is supposed to be more precise and read more of the groove. I don't know if you can get one for $100 or less, perhaps some here know that too.

I have a VERY ancient but excellent Classic AT Line Contact that is very precise and still sounds amazing and was about $140 at the time it was considered as one of the best (it's listed in my equipment profile, I forget the model number at the moment) Maybe there is a similar (but with improved technology) Line Contact cartridge available that would fit your price range...

I’d be weary myself. If they are returns, it’s likely that somebody far from familiar with the product has deemed them to be in “Very Good” condition.

Always been tempting for the very nice packaging, but for me I only do vinyl. What a nice job they did shipping it!

How's the SQ on this? Any ideas if it'd be an upgrade from a clean, early Irish pressing?

I don't know, but, you've peaked my interest. I don't have a live thing from Mcoy. He can do no wrong to me. Incredible.
