Package came and was a bit small to have any LP's inside. Only the SACD I ordered at the same time. Even the enclosed invoice had the amount for both items plus the shipping charge. Both items listed as "Shipped" but BOTT said "preorder" next to it. So, I guess i'm a failure. I'll go play my SACD now.
I just corresponded with MOFi about postage on this release, and they advised they aimed to ship by the end of August.
The album is up on Music Direct (although says Out of Stock), yet my pre-order shows SHIPPABLE. These are going out this week!!
I had second thoughts about this as I have an SACD Multichannel version already. I have all the other OneSteps but this will be my last for a while. I also received the T. Monk's SACD so I can't justify getting the OneStep. Same thing with the upcoming Yes - Fragile.
Yes - mine is also showing shippable. Interesting that they are out of stock - all 9000 copies spoken for?
Maybe or probably not. They most likely want to get the pre-ordered copies out the door before putting it up for sale on their website for the remaining stock.
Also just charged for for my preorder. One of my favorite albums, now I’m wishing I ordered more than one.
Relistened to this album a few times this week. This is a really superb piece of music. Cant wait for the one step
Just wondering if anyone's familiar with this "UD1S" process? I'm intrigued by this reissue but the price tag is might steep... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S4KS8CY?ref=ppx_pt2_dt_b_prod_image
Bob Dylan - Blood On The Tracks (Lmt Ed UltraDisc One-Step 45rpm Vinyl 2LP Box Set)*** The process simply skips the Father-Mother process. What is normally called a Father mold that is used to make duplicates of the lacquer called a Mother, this mold is used directly as the stamper for the records. Read more about in Music Directs write up.
An impressive entry into the world of Bob! Maybe it should inspire a thread: 'unusual entry points into an artist's work'? Though I confess my first Dylan purchase was the Bootleg series 1-3 - a friend jut wouldnt stop banging on about, so I grabbed it to see what all the fuss was about. This is how it starts...
I'll probably jump back to Highway 61 next. I'm excited. I resisted Dylan for so long (thought I didn't care for his voice) but I'm ready to dive in now.
