My expectations are for an Esher type of font for Twickenham/Apple Nagra clips-audio only. Tracked stuff will be treated differently.

I don't expect to see much of the Twickenham clips in the film-since the early stuff was filmed in brief bursts.

    Is this one yours?

Would love to hear your edited instrumental jams. Have you put them up on YouTube?

For those who are interested, here's my (almost) complete selection of rehearsals from January 1969, not including any version of released songs. If fits perfectly on one CD. I interspersed songs with instrumental jams, many of them graced by the great Billy Preston on keyboards. Everything is in mono and edited to achieve good performances (no flubs, no beeps). Headphones recommended.
This is the list of contents for both parts, then the YouTube link.

    Part 1

    02'12" Jam #1
    03'03" You Win Again

Was the Twickenham material recorded only on Nagra (twin track or mono)? Or was it also recorded also on multi-track 1-inch tape?

This has crossed my mind also! The movie may well be considered the outlet for much of the rehearsal audio, as it's (to their thinking) better served with a visual component.

Nah "Let it Be" and "Get Back" are two of the bands most iconic songs, and still popular today, and there are plenty of outtakes and alternate takes to include in a box set. So Apple will celebrate the 50th of that album just like they have for Pepper, WA and AR...

A box set celebrating the album around the same time as the documentary will just build more hype and attention for the film, and vice versa.

The film may even be so prominent that it gets its own 1CD/1LP soundtrack. And that could offer even further "new" content that's not in the LIB50 box.

There will be more media attention on the Beatles next May for the music re-issue and film than there is right now for AR, in my opinion!

I'm not suggesting there won't be an anniversary edition with outtakes, I'm saying there might not be a million jams of miscellaneous material, for which the video can serve as an outlet :)

Yes, it's a possibility. The easiest way is only include outtakes and alternate takes from the Apple sessions and completely ignore Twickenham.

I hope we get the original album remixed, the entire rooftop concert, the Naked album remastered (again, since it was already remastered in 2013), and then outtakes. Anything else would be a bonus.

I know I'm in the minority, but I hope they do not include Let It Be...Naked in the box. I would prefer they not take up disc space with something we already have and instead give us more unreleased tracks. I can live with the mastering on LIBN if it means more unreleased Beatle tracks.

I don't think the complete rooftop gig will appear on a separate CD. But maybe the footage from the complete gig would be an extra feature included with the original Let It Be film.

Surprised "Geh raus" didn't make the cut. I always liked Ob-la-di Ob-la-da and I'm So Tired send ups. Crying, Waiting, Hoping as well. Lay off the booze boy.
