She Said She Said needs de-cluttering. Got To Get You Into My Life, agreed...the drums all but disappear prior to the singing of the title and overall, the song needs clearer balance...couldn't agree more on H, T and E...everythiing about it (on Anthology)sounds better when the finished track kicks in...the guitar sounds fuller and cleaner, the appropriately soft drumming has better definition, the bass is cleaner and those background vocals are a downright revelation....I'm Only Sleeping, in Mr. Fremmer's wording in is desperate need of "clarification"...And Your Bird Can Sing..same as IOS but for different reasons. Also, one should listen to the Anthology version of Taxman, mix-wise..more dynamic, better balanced, more "biting" texture. In fact, I'd go far as to say that the best sounding track on the original mix of Revolver is the one most people seem to hate...and that's Yellow Submarine (which is also nicely improved on every remix that's been made of the song..I believe there are three, total...Anthology, YSS and "1").

There was also a Yellow Submarine remix EP including Ringo’s opening monologue with louder “Submarine” sound effects throughout.

Unless you have something totally different, that's the Anthology mix.

    You are correct sir.

I was thinking of the Real Love single that included Baby’s In Black, Yellow Submarine, & Here, There, & Everywhere as separate, when they all came from Anthology 1996.

Do we really need to know who is buying what version in this thread?
There is another thread for that

I imagine that Rubber Soul and Revolver weren't given the royal treatment because they may not have pre-bounced high quality multi tracks.

The original AR 69 mix would have been nice on the expanded lp and bluray set To be able to place next to the Beatles mono box set.

A UK first pressing without Her Majesty listed on the cover is very engaging

Not in the article but I think it's this...I'm no Beatles expert unlike others here.

...yeah and I thought it odd for an article to be about the last image and not have it in the text somewhere...who knows what the actual photograph is. o_O

Revolver did use pre-bounce tracks so that should be a fun one. Rubber Soul can still receive a great remix even from the four track.

I preordered the vinyl and box, then listened to the remixed “Something” and canceled. For me, it just doesn’t sound good. I will wait and if I eventually find them deeply discounted, I’ll buy them.

Well, ok, I was going by the start time of what became AR. Do we actually know what they were thinking? Like: this is for the next LP ... or Single. Or did they consider it as an extension of the Get Back project? (don`t think so - no more filming, so to record a studio version of a song not in the film would make it unfit to become a part of that).

    Agree!

The 3 LP set will be a fun listen, and I'm glad everything fits on vinyl.

But we should get a little audio lagniappe for buying the Sooper de Dooper deluxe box.
