In that case, glue binding needs to be a priority. ;)

The book had all the stunning ones. A visual treasure trove for fans.

The 37 copies of the book that haven’t yet fallen apart still do. ;)

Picked up a copy for 10.00 a few years back. Loose pages. Framed the best ( subjective ) ones. Saying that there was a great one with George using a brown fender telecaster. Abbey Road book can’t compete.

I don’t know if this has already been discussed, but does anyone know why “Something” Take 37 (with the extended guitar jam outro) was left off the box set? That was one of the best Abbey Road outtakes!

    Either:

One, two, three, or four of the Fabs or their estates vetoed it.
    Or:
Giles and his crew never even presented it as a possible choice to the others.

Talking about the vinyl release of Abbey Road I’m looking for the best pressing. I was very disappointed with the US pressing of their stereo box at. The white album was good however I did find the pressing very low in volume which is probably due to the mastering not so much depressing. I ordered from Canada because I have done that in the past because their albums tend to come from Germany or the UK. And I found those pressings to be better. Anybody have any information about where this is being pressed in the US? Additionally I found Japan is also releasing it with an OBI strip which leads me to think it is being pressed in Japan. Anybody have any info on that?

    Yoko's clowning around off-camera, I'd wager.

Or "Music!" (the Hey Jude sessions), the Apple board Meeting, the acoustic Helter Skelter thing, Blackbird, Mad Day Out, John and Yoko on David Frost September 69, George on Smothers Bros, Mad Day Out on video, etc etc etc.

From my experience, the White Album was always the treasure trove of demos, alternates, and outtakes. Abbey Road always seemed a bit thin in that department. Curious if there are superb outtakes I’ve never heard before to make me want to purchase this set. Not having “Something” Take 37 is one strike against it. Does it include the early version of “You Never Give Me Your Money” that also has guitar that was left off the final version? Is the one I’m thinking of Take 36 that is on the box?

Giles isn’t interested in the socks and sandals folk. He’s more interested in getting younger listeners.

It’s just cool to hear, like the long version of “Sexy Sadie” that has about 38 seconds of instrumental towards the end that was ultimately removed.

Or: It's so boring that it was left off to make space for something (see what I did there) more interesting. Honestly, though, has there ever been any discussion about what Harrison intended for that coda? Was it planned or just an informal jam?
