When can we expect the next teaser song to be released?

I'm guessing a new music video for "Come Together" or "Here Comes the Sun" arrives in a week or two. Probably two.

I'd wager last week of August/first week of September, with maybe a third coming out within the week before the release.

Will take 2 of 'Old Brown Shoe' have "normal" vocals?

I would think the vocals would sound like an ordinary guide vocal.

I am listening to the Sgt. Pepper outtakes discs right now and my anticipation for the Abbey Road can't be contained. I am mostly looking forward to the Ballad Of John And Yoko from the new set as it is one of my favorites.

Also, this thread dropped off the front page, is there a world wide outbreak that I am unaware of?

Was this taken seconds before John's long-rumored impromptu "Ice Bucket Challenge" prank .gif, which Yoko had forced them all to "Nev.er. speak. of. again."...?

I do not think that there will be. There will be a 50th anniversary Let It Be audio box set. It is likely that there will be some overlap of material between the box set and the film. But I doubt that they will also a release a separate soundtrack album that completely encompasses all of the music heard in the Peter Jackson film.

Yeah, even if you check in twice a day you still end up 10+ pages behind. I just skip to the end.

I've complained as much or more than the majority here. About non included bonus tracks, on all 3- 50th anniversary sets. Rightly so imho. BUT, I'm still hopeful the Let It Be 50th will have some gooduns.

I've purchased 1 of the 3, probably won't spend that kinda money on Abbey Road. Maybe with Let it be 50th i'll be 2 for 4.

All Let it Be could possibly have are compilation cds made from the hundreds of hours of nagra reels and a blu ray of the movie. What else could it possibly contain?

Think Let It Be has the edge on Abbey Road.

No! Not the sonics, can’t compete.

But it has the rooftop appearance!!!!

My point is I can’t think of anything NEW (read: previously unheard) that would be on a LIB box set

Maybe the "Get Back" album as intended by Glyn Johns?

If the I Me Mine session from January 1970 is considered fair game, then the Threetles did a version of "Peggy Sue Got Married" at that time. That has never leaked out before.

Is there anything from that period that's worthy of release? LIB sessions were few and far between when it came to good performances. Maybe the full rooftop concert?

If the continued calls for the release of Carnival of Light are anything to go by I don't think that really matters to a lot of people, it's just something different to listen to or something new/interesting perhaps even as Giles Martin put it something to add to the collection to collect dust on the shelf.
In any case I get the impression that from George Harrison's perspective at least everything left worth listening to is on the Anthology series since I believe he described it "Scraping the bottom of the barrel".

I've concluded definitively that The Beatles themselves are the all-time worst judges of what's "bottom of the barrel" and what isn't. I can give just one small example to prove the point..the complete, alternate take of What You're Doing from the John Barret tapes...without question, this is equal in both quality and interest to any outtake that's been already officially put out there...if there's one, there must be more.
