After using the Spin Clean for a while I think vacuum cleaning is very important for vinyl. My questions are
1- Is Okki Nokki worth it?
2- have you ever seen the machine be on sale during Black Friday or something? because I really want to get it ASAP

    THANKS!

I love mine. Got it after over 10 years with a Record Doctor. Look for them used. I bought one over 25% off from someone getting out of vinyl.

Yes it's worth it. Never seen it on sale as part of a Black Friday sort of thing, but I have seen it discounted from time to time but that's usually $50 or so. Nothing huge. Lowest Ive seen, as a regular price, without lid, is $650 CAD. The lid usually adds $100 to it.

FYI the Okki Nokki RCM is currently out of production. You might be able to get a good deal on a demo or old stock unit but there's a new model (supposedly) coming in the fall.

@Blackie hadn't heard that news. Might be worth the wait for anyone looking to get one. Any info on the new machine?

I suggest visit your local dealer if they have demo units for sale. I got mine 50% off retail and never looked back.

I got mine for about 220$ used. Wait for a deal if you have patience.
The fluid is also very important, invest in something good and pure water to dilute it in.

What’s the difference if I get a promo one?

Doesn’t the fluid come with the machine?

If you buy a new one yes, but you will keep having to buy more and I would not recommend the Okki fluid over other alternatives like Lart Du Son which is what I use.

Usually the demo deals will or will not have the Okki Nokki fluid. When I bought mine it came with a different fluid. Heck, I went to check out a different dealer and they have a L'Art Du Son which I also got for $20 demo retail $50 with only a little fluid used.

Check several dealers and see if they have deals and atleast you could try it as well.

Probably join a local Audio Society which I did near your place where they demo or have social gatherings once in a while. That's where I met people, dealers and company owners as well.

Where did you get that info? The current version is in stock everywhere I looked and I found no mention of a new model anywhere.

You keep asking. Have you searched for “Okki Nokki in Montreal”? Turns out that HiFi Pro has it:

    Okki Nokki - HIFIPRO

... among others in the city.
