Got mine yesterday. LP 1 is slightly warped but no off center. I am considering returning it to get a flat one. However, lp does sound totally awesome!

Listened on your recommendation a few times and really enjoyed it. Will listen more, too. Thank you.

Last part looks like GZ Media. Is it machine printed (not even stamped)?

Got my second copy ---- also warped! This seems to be par for the course these days. Anyways, back it goes :)

It's actually Precision Record Pressing, which is the new plant in Burlington, Ontario near Toronto, Canada.
They are a joint venture with GZ, thus the similar numbering system.

My copy arrived today from Amazon finally, it's perfectly flat,
and i've gotta say, that besides the cheap paper inner sleeves (which i replace anyway)
this is an upgraded pressing from the standard United or cheapo versions that are
normal for contemporary artist Blue Note releases. The KPG@CA was a nice thing to see
    in the deadwax too!

Incredible album. Have had it on steady rotation for the past week since receiving my flat, quiet vinyl.

For anyone interested, Joel has a new album due out later this month:

I'm looking forward to this, especially since Harpist Brandee Younger is featured on five of the album’s tracks. Brandee recently signed to Impulse Records for her major label debut.

Here's one of the new tunes from the album:

Listened to his new album today and really dig the music. Vinyl is quiet but mastering leaves a lot to be desired. Sounds veiled and a bit tame. First album sounded better on vinyl. Didn’t recognize the mastering engineers name on the album credits.

Thank you for posting, he’s been hinting stuff on Instagram. This is an auto buy for me. Don’t even need to listen to it!

Is there any information on who is mastering the LPs and where they will be pressed? I couldn't find any. By the way, I'm listening to Kingmaker this evening and really enjoying it. I bought the CD not realizing that KG did the LP of that one...may double dip.

no word yet. The most recent Immanuel Wilkins LP was mastered at Sterling.
Some of the 'standard' Blue Note releases are pressed at either GZ or their Canadian partner
Precision Records Pressing, in Burlington Ontario, just outside of Toronto.

I’ve pre-ordered the new one. Seems to be with a larger band though Immanuel Wilkins is on it again. I hope it’s as good as Who Are You ?

One of the best things i saw this weekend after 3 days of Monterey Jazz Festival was Joel Ross. His set stood out.

Parable of the Poets was mastered by David Darlington at Bass Hits in New York, though the vinyl was done by Kevin Gray at Coheareant. I think there were US and EU pressings. My EU black vinyl has KG@CA in the dead wax. I’m assuming it may have been pressed at Optimal, like the TPs and BN classics, but the album simply says Made in the EU. In any case, it’s a lovely, flat, silent pressing. I may get the vinyl of Kingmaker and Who Are You at some point.
