Well the dog’s acting was better than Margot Robbie’s. Last fifteen minutes were superb.

What cracks me up, is Margot is actually a pretty decent actress, except for the last couple of years she's just been cast as eye candy who can hit her mark and say her lines somewhat believably.

Check out the criminally underrated Z for Zachariah from 2015, a sci-fi/end of world type film with a very understated performance from Robbie. She's almost unrecognizable in it, both physically and emotionally.

  6. Almost all of the so called Australian eye candy actresses have proved themselves in the long run.

Well I guess that's why they call it The Twilight Zone.
Season 3 - Episode 20 - Showdown With Rance McGrew
    (oh my god)
Look what I stumbled across, but Rance is a Hollywood jerk, it's a hoot.
The credits say it was shot at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and I assume that is for the indoor scenes but this outdoor set looks awfully familiar.

I can definitely see The Dude and Walter being big "Bounty Law" fans, particularly the early episodes.

Funny but I got a completely different view. I thought she conveyed exactly what was needed in the role of Sharon. I thought she 'got' Tate and demonstrated what Q.T. was wanting and then some.

But anyway this episode is about a TV cowboy show and the lead Rance is a temperamental big-ego jerk actor, blowing his lines, acting and threating people bad.
There is a short exchange between him and his stunt double that is funny.

There were three dogs used in OUATIH. Margot did fine with the part...you apparently have an axe to grind here?

An excellent fast moving 10 minute interview, with some imo cool QT insights; no emails and no cellphones, you can't beat that. Already over 1.4 million views.

Can anyone tell me the name of the piece of music used in one scene?

It is near the end of the film. It is an overhead shot of the driveway/ gates of Polanski's house just before they open to let Rick in.

The music is just one instrument, kind of metallic sounding but very beautiful.

This stuff is so subjective but based on what I saw, and the comments here, that’s a head scratcher. I think the fact that she made it look like she was barely acting (if the poster feels like she was kinda just “there” not doing much, which is what I think the part called for after watching her) I get it, but I’m sure that’s what Quentin wanted and it worked beautifully imo. I felt even more compassion for her even though nothing happens to her in the film. I felt really happy for her when she was genuinely enjoying the kudos going out to her while watching her film, and I didn’t feel any ego from the character while she was doing so. She was just having a very happy moment after working so hard on her film. Maybe I’m looking too much into it? Maybe it’s Quentin’s tribute to her? Well done.

That's how I read the movie theater scene. I thought it was a sweet moment, watching her be so happy when the crowd laughs at the right places. And the way the "what if I am in the movie" lines read on paper, she could have come across as high-falutin' at the ticket window. But she doesn't, and that's all down to Margot Robbie.
