Waters wasn't interested in the compilation. The title is a pun courtesy of Nick Mason, but why he didn't drum on the new Money is beyond me. Maybe it had to be done real quick?

One of These Days also belonged to Harvest/Capitol, but Dance Songs has the correct version of that song.

Capitol Records refused to license Money to Columbia/CBS Records. Apparently they had no issue with licensing One Of These Days which wasn't nearly as popular at the time.

Talked to a recordstore guy yesterday. He told me that AMLOR will be rereleased with a less 80ish keyboard and drum sound. Anybody heard of this.?

Not to beat a dead horse but just adding to the overwhelming majority opinion on here that the Pulse vinyl kicks extreme ass. Honestly I was not expecting to be blown away but it’s like listening to the album for the first time, stunning!

CDs may be history if and when a Later Years collection comes out.

You are dead on what a reissue I can't imagine the original sounds much better. To have a DSOTM live and sounding like that is a treat.

    I suppose it will.
It is the 15th studio album and PFRLP15 is vacant in the reissue series PFRLP14 is division Bell. The question is When?

    I believe this guy.

Did he review the 30th anniversary?
Surprised he didn't like the 40th.
Many guys here seem to love it.
The 30th was the last to be AAA.
    And I love it.
Difficult to track, unfortunately for some, but if you can, it's quite something.

I agree...…...tracking issues, and surface noise have kept some Dark Side enthusiasts from having a positive experience. It sounds great on my system.

Didn’t like it on the first spin. Noisy and distorted in some places. All disappeared after a good shampoo in the VPI 16.5.:righton:
