I didn't know what to expect........ My wife and I liked this movie very much, it caught us by surprise. I was too late for the movie I wanted to see 47 Meters Down Uncaged.

This is a fun movie with some memorable characters. They stick with you when you leave. Maybe a little like the Adams Family on steroids. :)

Saw this today. Absolutely hysterical. Not a perfect movie by any means but definitely the most fun I've had at a theatre so far this year. Samara Weaving is fantastic!

Saw it yesterday and thought it was one of the most original stories I've seen in a while outside of MidSommar. I was on the edge of my seat, grossed out and laughing throughout the entire movie. Pretty rare combo I can't recall experiencing at the theater.

Just didn't like the color grading in some parts with crushed shadows to where I couldn't see the actor's eyes. Probably will look better on Blu-ray which I'm definitely going to get.

Samara Weaving looks like a dead ringer for Margot Robbie.

Sort of a dark comedy surrounding a rich family's relationship with new members to the flock through marriage and how they are welcomed. The story is quite intriguing and mysterious and grossly violent.

I'm also surprised why this movie isn't being talked about even on network TV.

I would add this movie to me was more entertaining than "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood".

Hope it'll be in the theatre's two weeks from now....

Highly entertaining film. It had the right amount of satire and dark comedy, with a healthy sprinkle of horror thrown in. Most fun I've had at the multiplex in a while.

  11. Yeah, the only description I read of this made it sound like a straight-up horror film, which didn't get me too pumped up. But if its a dark comedy, maybe it'll be worth checking out at reduced long weekend prices...

The trailer showed the "dark comedy" side - and gave away far too many of the potential surprises.

I thought the movie was... okay. Should've been wilder than it was - it seemed less crazed than I'd expect given the premise.

It's a better idea for a movie than an actual movie. Enjoyable enough but a bit of a disappointment...

Looked a bit like "You're Next", which I liked. I'll give it a shot.

I predict this character will become a meme, avatar, t-shirt art and Halloween costume in the not so distant future.

Nicky Guadagni is the Canadian actress that plays Aunt Helene and is the standout character actor in this movie. Her entire look including her sort of hiphop-ish up-dew hair style is quite iconic much like Uncle Fester from the Adam's Family and other quirky pop culture characters.

You can't take your eyes off of her when she's in the scene.
She kind of reminds me of Brother Theodore. :)

I don't want to ruin it for the other 3 members that want to see it, but it's too bad she died, she would make a great horror/action movie villain.
Maybe their friend will use her.
I wonder how she came up with that look??

    So, just saw this...
    it was ok.
My mom liked it more than me.
I noticed the star of the film's name; Samara Weaving.
    Is that Hugo Weaving's daughter?

I saw this today, just before it left theatres here. A lot of fun, exactly what I was expecting, pretty satisfying. I agree that it could have been wilder/gone farther, but how it unfolds makes sense given the setup. Recommended for sure.

Saw this yesterday, loved it, great fun. One question though for anyone who's seen it...

At the end when Grace is on the table and Alex is about to stab her, there's a lot of quick edits and suddenly she's free and on her feet - what happened? Me and my partner were both a bit confused as to how she got free.
