I’ve said this before but..solo Nico. Her entire catalogue post-70s is a legal/admin nightmare as she did so many one off recordings for loads of long-gone indies and after her death there’s not one easy source to get a good chunk of them. So many releases with her name rehashing the same material, over and over. There’s even two versions of the 1981 album Drama of Exile that are both the “final” “official” version according to whomever the licence owners are at that moment.

So my dream box would be:

    All 6 studio albums
+ The “alternate” Drama of Exile
Full June 1, 1974 set with Eno/Cale Berlin concert added as bonus (poor quality but an important historical set)
Rarities set - all non album sides available (2-3 CDs) (inc her Peel session tracks)
Alternate takes and unreleased tracks (if available)
Live Anthology (the best material of the many, many 80s live albums)
DVD of all filmed solo performances available

If we’re lucky and Numero sticks with it, we could have a whole lot of Husker Du sets over the next few years.

Napalm Death - a set covering all their early self released/demo recordings prior to Scum
Final - again a set compiling the early tape only releases. This has been in the works since at least 2014 under the title "Origins" and was mentioned for this year, but no news in a long while

This came out after the Universal fire, but unfortunately it's digital only.
It would be nice if they would make a physical release available too.
All previously released singles and B-sides only, no unreleased tunes, but that's all I want, YMMV.
Strangely it seems to be missing 'Chronic Town'.

And there's the same for the Warners period. Again I'd love for a physical release.
This one, according to the wiki article is missing a few things as well.
Again no unreleased tracks, but that's not what I would be after.

Free already had the 5 cd Songs of Yesterday box set. It is one of my favorites.

It's too bad Rodgers nixed the From The Shadows complete Island vaults set.
