Check your discs for scratches. Lots of them and some rotational due to how they were inserted at the factory. No excuse for CDs being scratched from new.

As I think the be or not to be of downloads included with the LP sets has been discussed earlier in the thread, it has now been decided that they will include download cards: Prince 1999 vinyl sets will now come with download cards for digital audio | superdeluxeedition

I'm not sure what it means. Hopefully it just means they have sold through their order. I would hope it'll be back for sale once they order additional stock. I haven't placed an order yet.

Just seen this. You know 1999 is being put out by Warners, who own the rights? And Duophonic is Stereolab’s own label? This is not like a third-party licensing the material to release like MOFI. These labels already own the rights. They’re not going to licence the music from themselves.
i have several boxsets in my amazon watch list and all say currently unavailable and most of them were just for preorder

Has any of these just sat there forever? I've only just switched to Amazon prime in the last year, so I don't know what to expect when I see something like this. It's still on the Prince official website, though, so yeah, it's probably just a big nothing.

The Cult one is odd as the vinyl set was released. Usually it’s the other way around...the CD set comes out and the vinyl is delayed for whatever reason.
We're getting off topic here, but this is because there was a manufacturing problem with the CD box set. There's a Sonic Temple thread here: Will We Get a 30th Anniversary Edition of The Cults Sonic Temple in 2019?
My preorder with amazon UK has just been pushed back to 31 November - has this happened to anyone else?
