The dangers of this forum... buying something I would have no business buying other wise. I love this movie, so yes, I ordered it!

David Bowie "Loving The Alien" vinyl box for $120... https://www.amazon.com/Loving-Alien...90349&sprefix=loving+the+alien,aps,236&sr=8-1 This should be a no-brainer!
But don't you have to like that era of David Bowie for it to be a no-brainer? I'm not much of a fan of that era For me it would just be an overpriced thing that sat on the shelf that I never played
Totally fair point. I approach this from the angle that I like this period a lot. I was a bit young during Bowie's 70's heyday so Let's Dance and Tonight were my gateway into his world. So let me rephrase. This should be a no-brainer if you like 80's Bowie and/or if one is a Bowie completist and need this on your shelf. By the way, $116.84 now!
Great deal. This set is very good. Love the NLMD remix and the RE:Call set here is a great listen with the single edits and soundtrack material.
this is the debate i keep having with myself. the best stuff from this era is easily found on vinyl and on demo worthy pressings to boot. but if this keeps getting this low i'm bound to snatch it up.
Damn. I don't even want to look and see what I paid for this at the time of release (I used my Amazon points funny money so it helped a little). I only bought it for the live albums and the NLMD remix. I sold off all the rest of the stuff on eBay and I think in the end the whole affair only cost me about $30. But still... I should have known a set like this would be in the clearance aisle eventually. If only "Who Can I Be Now" got down to this price, because I still want "The Gouster" on vinyl. Maybe a year from now we'll be talking about "Conversation Piece" at $24.99!
