Looks like the Blue Nile's first three albums are being reissued on vinyl, with a November 22 release date:

    The Blue Nile: Vinyl Reissues

Not a lot of info on that page, but these are new remasters, done in 2019, and are limited to 1,000 copies per title.

These may end up being prohibitively costly for me, but I am interested in Hats, as my LP isn't in the greatest shape. (Fortunately, I have a decent UK LP of Rooftops.)

I don't know about the UK or Europe, but these LPs are pretty difficult to find in the US, at least in my experience.

Rooftops is such a great recording. I highly recommend this title to anyone!

    My Linn is superb.

I’ve never pre-ordered music so quickly before in my life. Bought all 3 from Amazon UK

First time ordering from amazon uk but it’s down to £20 shipped to US which is worth taking a chance. Super excited

    .... "first three albums"?
The last reissues sold out pretty quick and got (even more) expensive. Also not an easy find in Europe, "Hats" especially. Which I find puzzling since it came out in 1989. And not in one of those vinyl unfriendly years like 1993. But it's definitely not an album one comes across often and when you find one prices can sometimes be as high as 50 bucks. :yikes:

OK, just bought Hats and Rooftops via Amazon.co.uk. About $53 shipped after conversion. Not bad!

I noticed that - thanks for mentioning it here. I just preordered Hats. I hope they do this justice.

I will be curious to see how the new ones sound. I have a very nice original copy of Hats and a US Promo of A Walk Across the Rooftops.

I was about to do the same ting but the total would be $3 more than I paid via Amazon UK

I saw that but the ease of returns and less of a chance of getting dings from oversea shipment is worth $3 for me

I did the same when I saw there were only going to be 1,000 copies for each of the 3 Titles. I ordered from Anazon-UK because at the time these Vinyl Titles were not showing as available on Amazon-US. I checked Amazon-UK again today abs they are no longer available. I should have ordered 2 copies of each Title in case of any potential defects, and if not, could have sold off the extra copies to pay for my first copies, as being limited release should make these valuable. Just glad I ordered I copy of each Title though back when I read about this release and limited to 1,000.
