picked up the Japan import at the post office today... 5100 yen for delivery cost ... yikes! in addition to the Beatles Blu-ray set also got a MQA CD of Billy Vaughn (23 tracks) and the free Beatles poster (rolled, not folded).

 

Got my 3LP from Amazon.fr yesterday, exterior shipping box was kinda whupped but the interior protector and the actual 3LP box were in perfect shape. Dead flat, super quiet, not a speck of paper or debris on em. Nice!

AR50 duplicated Pepper 50....very impressive!

 

I would think most people that bought the Pepper and WA 50th editions also purchased AR50. In some cases multiple different editions. I sure did!

 

My Amazon France box arrived in perfect condition but it seems I am unable to access the rip as this is only available to residents of France.
Has anyone outside France been able to access the digital download ?

 

I've been able to order the picture disc for £25 and the 3-LP boxed set for £60. Can those be considered good, reasonable prices?
I don't know how much EU/UK/US residents have been able to purchase them for, but I could not find a better deal.

The 3 LP Box set is at 88 USD (around 1700 MX Pesos) in mix up stores, which is less than in Amazon US (around 2000 pesos or 103 USD)

 

Abbey Road is $76 at Import cds right now. White Album is $120.

 

I haven’t been in the various AR threads that much - too busy of late - but did other indie stores do this? My local has a gigantic AR display where you can get your pic taken. Kind of cool, I thought.

It’s HUGE. Hopefully the T-shirts at right give you some sense of scale...

any Canadian members here? The pharmacy chain store London Drugs carries vinyl/CDs and will price match amazon or chapters.ca!


I got the Abbey Road CD deluxe box for the price of the Vinyl box! Buddy in the dept. didn't know the diff. You could try that, I just went in
and asked if they priced matched and didn't say a word (you could try to pursue them it's a vinyl).

 

No idea of specific sales, but I'm hoping B&N will have another big CD blowout like last year paired with a good coupon.

I got some boxed sets like 65% off last year!

 

That is what I'm waiting on but I suspect the new owners won't be as friendly this holiday season.
