    I can remember listening to this in Saskatoon, behind Hugh Cairns, V.C. where I went for grades 7 & 8, might have been after I graduated but still lived in that neighbourhood.

    I recently bought Born Free on Blu ray and was reminded how much I love Matt Munro's gorgeous version. Shockingly, it never made the Hot 100 despite the song itself winning an Oscar.

    The guitar break that hits at 1:00 is the first electric lead I learned to copy note-for-note at a very young age. Thankfully my parents were pleased with the result, if not so much with the volume on my amp !
