Which music period was the Beatles’ best?

Which period of albums was the best when it comes to the Beatles’ music?

 

1963-1964 for me. The rocking early years.

 

1968-70. They got way more interesting.

 

1964-1970

 

‘Abbey Road’ is my favourite album, but I went with ‘65-‘66. I think that’s when they made their biggest artistic leaps forward. From ‘Help!’ to ‘Revolver’ in a year!

 

I feel like the early albums hold up the best because they are not over produced. The songs are simple and rocking. The songs could also be played live.

 

Well I loved it all...
Growing up with it, I see it as one long journey, not broken up in sections.
I chose 1965/66 because I think it’s the bridge they crossed from the early material to the later material.

 

1962-1969

 

I choose the penultimate era, because I consider Revolver a part of it. 'Psychedelic' Beatles.

In truth, of course, they were always in 'transition', restlessly moving forward. My own actual favourite era is 1962-1970.

 

65 - 67 for me. The golden period of Help!* through to Magical Mystery Tour.

* I was tempted to start it with Rubber Soul, but Help! contains You've Got To Hide Your Love Away, my favourite Beatles song.

 

68-70 for me. Everything is great, but that’s my favourite period.


65-66 would be my second favourite.

65-66. But they’re all awesome.

 

None of it. The Beatles bring back bad memories of when I lost my Boys Brigade Sunday School attendance card. Hard times.

Voted '62-'64. Think that it's the most significant, historically for rock 'n roll, as they created garage rock. The whole British Invasion ushered it in, w/The Beatles @ the forefront...w/neighborhoods across the U.S. "garage's" filling w/youths picking up guitars & drumsticks. Uncomplicated, straight-forward chords, melodies & harmonies set to great songwriting. (Though this sound would include '65 releases, too.) Which is also the backbone of power-pop, currently & throughout decades. They were early "influencers"!

65-66, but I'd extend it to 67.

 

I have to go with the early stuff, it might be nostalgia my teenage years.

 

Psychedelic Beatles is best Beatles.

 

It’s all great but I go back to the last few records the most

Everything apart from the "Let It Be" album is perfect in my opinion.
