Oh OK. But it gave me the exact same message as the gift card discount link so I assumed it was the same thing. I still didn't qualify when clicking the link so I must have used this up in some way before? I'll try the code direct rather than link....

Just tried it using my wife's account and got the same message you did, looks like it is a bit random in the application as I use my account loads more than she does hers and I doubt that I wouldn't have already used a promo voucher that she had used before. Weird.

That is not correct, as I could use this GBP 5 discount on my order. And I'm a fellow Dutchie.
So there does seem to be some Amazon randomness going on.

Everything about Amazon appears to be random. At least they seem to have stopped randomly charging in advance for pre-orders as some discovered a few months back.

Has that stopped? It was ridiculous, and with a little thinking they must have realised this too.

Yes it has. They stopped charging me and they did it on every pre-order. To the point that I started cancelling every single one of them and going elsewhere.

I'm not getting charged for my pre-ordered stuff in advance now. I've had a few so it seems they have abandoned that stupid idea thankfully :)

Grateful Dead Portland box set was around $35 on Amazon UK yesterday. Came to about $50 shipped for those of us in the states. Great deal for that set. Not sure if it is still that price.

I'm assuming at that price it must be a CD set, right? I can't see the vinyl going for that...

Yep, that’s it. I ordered it. Who knows if I’ll actually get it but seemed like a really good deal to me.
