  1. There's also a 50% off sale on most Arrow Video titles.

Amazon seems to be price matching from what I can see (unless you have the b&n membership discount)

the email I received indicated that this sale was not eligible for additional discount with coupons.

Amazon price of $22.97 is essentially the Barnes & Noble 50% off price plus the $2.98 shipping charge for non-members that order less than the $35 free shipping threshold.
Besides free shipping, Barnes & Noble members also get 10% off the 50% off prices, but in-store only. As cdash99 mentioned, no coupons work in store or online.

For the Godzilla set, Amazon's price of $112.49 minus $2.50 coupon beats the BN.com price of $112.49, but not the member in-store price of $112.49 minus $11.24 (10% member discount).

I did get the additional discount in store for what that’s worth.

I think the coupon notice is in anticipation of coupons they’ll be sending out for the Veterans Day and Thanksgiving holidays.

Items listed as being "in stock" for stores on their website doesn't seem to mean a thing. I went to pickup the Godzilla box only to be told "it's sold out." When I pulled up the page on my phone indicating the store said it's in stock the guy just claimed "one is on hold for a customer." That doesn't mean "in stock" then.

yeah that's how it is. sometimes they can't find it. sometimes its on hold. it still shows as "in stock"

Because the customer hasn't purchased it yet, the inventory control system still says one in stock, which is then relayed to the corporate website. Also, ICS systems can vary whether they update in real-time or at daily closing.

The B&N Membership includes a stackable 10% discount so I just showed them the membership card and they did the 50 plus the 10.

So much for the BS on the Blu-ray.com forums, where it was posted that a B & N employee said it wasn't happening this July due to Covid !

They're fussin' over there right now.

Rumours abound that the 10 percent membership discount no longer applies to Criterions beginning this sale. Bummer if true and that's the only reason I have a membership and mine just renewed. I guess we'll wait and see.

One of the managers at the Barnes & Noble I work at told me today that the membership does apply to the sale. She read it on one of the promotional posters although I did not see it with my own eyes.

Just placed my order. Seemingly slim pickings on the B&N site already. Most of what I had on my list was out of stock. I still made out pretty good though.

Just to confirm the membership (10% saving) does work on the Criterion sale. Anybody who signs up for a new membership - using an email that is not attached to a previous membership - saves 20% on their first purchase in store. Just tried it at the Barnes & Noble I work at!

The one blu-ray I want (Grand Budapest) is "temporarily out of stock" online and it doesn't even let me order it. Gah.

    The Grand Budapest Hotel

No dice on Elephant Man pre-order either. Damn.
