Thank you, Although after listening through the whole thing, I reassured my theory that its Ringo.

...really? Even after the valid points he made? Like how Ringo isn’t heard saying a single other thing the whole time? And that so many people in the comments and us two think it’s clearly John?

That’s my pick too. I was disappointed to find it it wasn’t Ringo playing those fills, since I had always regarded it as my favourite Ringo musical moment.

The opening chords in I Want To Hold Your Hand. In my opinion, even all these hundreds of years later, they emanate an explosive immediacy with this feeling of "great things to come". By this, I don't necessarily mean the rest of the song itself; it's what The Beatles themselves unwittingly represented at that time...happiness, positivity, a feeling that anything GOOD in life was indeed possible and no one could stop you from attaining it...a feeling of, "stop whining...it's all going to be okay". All in the "promise" of those first few seconds just before the vocals push in and confirm everything.

Absolutely beautiful. All of it .John' s only 'solo ' Beatles song because it had to be that way. Had to be.
    An underappreciated deep cut.

    OK...check me on this:
After the creaking sound doesn ' t someone ( possibly Paul....but it could have been John ) say : " Shhh."?
I hear it but someone told me it's not there.

My favorite Beatles moments are almost all in John's songs.

The hypnotic background harmonies on Dear Prudence - Look around. . . A moment to get lost in.

Everything about "Sexy Sadie", but particularly John's glorious lead vocal and the amazing background vocals.

Yeah, out of all the Beatles songs and all the harmonies, the high harmonies of "oh how long will it take, till she sees the mistake she has made" still to this day knocks me out

That harmony made an impression on me when I was a kid, and it still represents what it did back then, the absolute power of music

Although it might have been more fitting if they wrote "and in the end, the egos and drama you create, is equal to the special things you break_
