Choose your favorite British Invasion songs from the list. The poll includes the Top 25 non-Beatles songs from this source:

Greatest Songs of the British Invasion

You'll be allowed to choose up to 5 options.

The MeToo movement - where the heck is Dusty Springfield’s “I Only Want to Be With You”???

Casually, it would have been the #26 song of the list if more poll options were allowed!

  5. Out of these,
I voted for Gloria, We Gotta Get Out Of This Place, Paint It Black, Get Off Of My Cloud and Under My Thumb.

Gloria and We Gotta Get Out Of This Place are by far my favorites of those; but I think It's My Life by The Animals should be listed. It's one of the greatest songs of all time.
Also I'd prefer Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere and I Can See For Miles by The Who to I Can't Explain, and Any Way You Want It by The Dave Clark Five to Glad All Over.
    And there's many more...

Those absent songs are at lower positions on the original list from the source I linked in the first post, except "I Can See For Miles" because it was released after the release of Revolver (August 1966), according to the used criteria.

All the Animals tracks in there, rounded out with the Kinks. The best!! IMO the Stones didn't hit their stride until "Jumpin' Jack Flash", but it's tough not to pick "Under My Thumb". If "The Kids Are Alright" had been on here, I might have dropped "You Really Got Me"... maybe.

You just can't beat ¨My Generation¨ IMO. Proof of that is that every attempt at covering it, even by major bands, paled badly against the original, although I can live with Limp Bizkit's (there ya go; laugh all you want:laugh:)

Closely followed by ¨You Really Got Me¨ and ¨She's not there¨, although in all fairness I was introduced to it by the sensational UK Subs cover, without realizing it wasn't theirs.

I picked the first 5 on the list ,but truthfully, with only a couple exceptions , pretty much any five on this list would do...

It was too tough to pick only 5. And one of my personal favorites wasn't on the list, the Dave Clark Five's "Catch Us If You Can".

Why is that not on your list? It is the ultimate British invasion song. It is completely British. For God's sake the song sings about a body of water nobody in America ever heard of.

Again, this is not "my" list; see the source I linked in the first post.

Actually that song is in the complete list (including Beatles songs) at #78. But I only could include 25 options in the poll.

Could have picked almost any of them, but I will go with:

    Sunshine Superman
    Under My Thumb
    Sunny Afternoon
    Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood
    Shapes of Things

This should have been an option

There are non-Beatles British invasion songs?
