Nothing's going to beat Prince's progression from his second album to his third.

Just look at the album covers for proof of that.
Second album - a guy you could bring home to your mom. Third album....lock the doors!

Agreed, but they did change their concept a bit. And some of their earlier stuff (Science friction, Statue of liberty, others) is absolutely great.

2.Stones from Black & Blue to Some Girls was a stunning achievement in real time

3.Dylan / Planet Waves to BOTT...oddly enough no-one thought Bobby had another masterpiece of the calibre of BOTT left in him at this time

4.Van Morrison / Wavelength to Into The Music, from a weak point to another pinnacle in his career

5.Ray Charles / The Genius Hits The Road to Modern Sounds In C&W Music was a jump from subpar to 1 of music's greatest achievements

You can clearly get what he means by reading the thread.

I'm sure you have good intentions but there's no need to hound him because his English isn't perfect.

On other sites I often get my sadistic kicks nitpicking errors other posters make.

But I don't do that here. Even a backwoods bumpkin such as myself can see this forum has many posters who are not native English speakers.
