Agreed, but they did change their concept a bit. And some of their earlier stuff (Science friction, Statue of liberty, others) is absolutely great.

 

1.The Clash from Give Em Enough Rope to London Calling

2.Stones from Black & Blue to Some Girls was a stunning achievement in real time

3.Dylan / Planet Waves to BOTT...oddly enough no-one thought Bobby had another masterpiece of the calibre of BOTT left in him at this time

4.Van Morrison / Wavelength to Into The Music, from a weak point to another pinnacle in his career

5.Ray Charles / The Genius Hits The Road to Modern Sounds In C&W Music was a jump from subpar to 1 of music's greatest achievements
