The khorns are actually a better fit for the room. I found the tweeter arrays on the CG's very beamy unlike the horns on the K's. Plus the CG's take up a bit more space in already cramped room. Here's a pic of them along with a pair of Mcintosh ml1C's and a pair of pre lawsuit JBL subs which they absolutely dwarf. I had 4 ML1C's in that room for a while and they were probably the best fitment for the room but alas.....I just can't keep them all
Hi it looks lovely and I don't see this clutter of which you speak. Also can you detail your system for us?
Thanks for the compliment. Dark picture can't make any components out, Was the only picture I had on my phone. This is a system I put together when I decided to pull my old vinyl and cassette tapes out of storage. I've upgraded the Amp to the Nad recently and looking at changing my speakers next. Amp- Nad C 328 Tape deck- Nad 613 TT- Audio Technica lp120 Speakers- Kef Q100 Sony mini disc I'll get a better picture up soon.
With the backlighting, try focusing on the equipment with your camera, so the lighting gets adjusted and we can see more of it .
Not yet, I only have an original RCA pressing. My Lp isn’t in great condition, but my Grado MC+ mono cartridge suppresses 90% of the noise.
I've updated my profile with my components Amp- Nad C 328 Tape deck- Nad 613 TT- Audio Technica lp120 Speakers- Kef Q100 Sony mini disc Little snow today :-(
Yes it is. I was lucky enough to see him in Hamilton at the start of his tour in a small venue that was half full. Was a great show! Bought the album at the show and he was signing copies at the end. Not one to get autographs but he was just hanging out signing records and shaking hands thanking the crowd.
This system is so satisfying to listen to! c.1963 Acoustic Research AR-TX (early AR-XA), extensively hot rodded by Marc Morin 1984 Grado Signature 8MR 1959 Fisher X-100 (EL-84) (Speakers are Spendor SP3/1R2's)
