It bored me but I'm not a fan. I liked Chimera at the time though.

I dug it the one time i spun it. Hard for me to give it 100% attention though at the moment, what with the girlfriend and the rampant alcoholism. Lol.

Rehab might be the way out. My best buddy (friends for 45 years) went in for a few weeks and has been clean for a few years now. He does also go to AA meetings on Saturdays. Hope things improve my friend.

I found it's possible to get around paypal with debit or credit and I'll try that. First I have to pay off some of the maxed card. It's my internet credit card for small purchases with an intentionally low $500 limit. I can only be burned that much.

Some pretty good standard Rock with blackened vocal from Italy. A lot of delicacy dropped throughout including beautiful female vocal (7:10). Cool Sabbath band name "Symptoms of the Universe".

Benighted from France on Season Of Mist Records. Just discovered these guys and got this album. They make some crazy horror style videos.

It kinda looks like the same style of art that is on the Haunt and Beastmaker covers, don't know the name though.

Did paypal ever say what happened to cause them to do that?

I would assume that there's a fair amount of underground trade (legal and otherwise) that uses Paypal, it's a probably a tightening of the screws forced by tax depts worldwide.

Ugh, I used to get all my media tax free, now I get charged my normal tax of 9.5%. Oh well, I built up a nice media library mostly tax free since the interwebs started, I guess in my twilight years I can throw a little towards the govt.

    Money laundering came to mind.
No, I didn't inquire further. I tried bypassing the paypal system by using credit directly with bandcamp and it worked though the email receipt said "This charge will appear on your credit card statement as payment to PAYPAL *BANDCAMP." So I'm still within the PP system. At least I didn't upload photo ID. That is going too far. I can see the headline about them being hacked, etc. I try to give away as little information as possible. I don't even have a profile pic at faceebook.
    I'm a savage! A mountain man! I'm...uncouth! :uhhuh:

Checking out Krater and I'm smitten with the guitar and bass interplay after 3:30. With four albums I have something to explore.

Krater and Symptoms of the Universe came and went. One decent song just isn't enough. Did the rounds earlier and of twenty odd albums (in fast forward! ) I plucked one to hear in its entirety. I have their EP from a few years ago so a new album, a proper debut, from Spanish Qayin Regis paused my optic orbs. Doctrine, by Qayin Regis

With Blood Incantation coming I took a listen to the main competition like Tomb Mold, etc. I still like the simplicity and old school groove of Witch Vomit.

Sticking with the hunt for groove I've somehow missed this groovalicious album. "35 minutes of driving, groove-filled blackened death/doom" as it's described by a customer on bandcamp. A Sanity Deranged, by Nightfell

I hate medieval metal. Same with vikings. :unhunh:, nah, hate is way too strong. I find it annoying. And yet...I'm grudgingly digging this, especially after 3:00 when it rocks out a bit. I guess I better listen to the whole album. Maybe after my annual bath and complimentary leech treatment.
