There's a ton to cover here, and if you're really big into this stuff listen to the entire podcast.

Basically, their were three attempts at making a cartoon involving anthropomorphic versions of the group - one dates to the late 70s, another sometime in the 80s, and finally Mike Love nearly got this into full swing in the early 1990s with Camp California. Due to multiple factors that are largely still unknown - and this video is the most comprehensive look at the entire thing, while it indeed does exist in the form of two video games for the Turbografx 16 and an album featuring the characters (including 3 songs from the band, the rest unrelated to them), and evidence of merchandise, the entire point, the show, complemented with the cross media that made it out the door, never existed.

I'm not sure how much interest this would be on this forum, but if you're at all interested in obscure media, this is something else.

A cartoon involving anthropomorphic versions of Brian and Dennis recording the "Cocaine Sessions" would have been interesting.

This wasn't on Discogs until after RetroPals covered the two related games.

As it goes this CD isn't worth much, it's just incredibly obscure

The Cd also comes with a foldout lyric sheet, which is also obscure!

"Anthropomorphic" means applying human characteristics to non-humans. Just sayin'.

Although I suppose there are people on the forum though who might want to argue
    Mike Love is not human...

Most interesting factoid from the video is that the Camp California "Little Old Lady From Pasadena" was a kids radio hit in 1993-94.

I'd argue that he's a giant among songwriting rock 'n roll frontmen.

ermm, the ampromothic version of the group would've been the cartoon bears, right?
