They seem to be James. They're retired, and enjoying doing this, as well as hosting events inside, and outside the shop, like sponsoring screenings at the local historic Palace Movie Theater.
    Genuinely good people.
We were walking by the other day, on the town square, and I stopped, stuck my head in, and told Chris I was getting another pile together, to sell to them.
Only buyer I've ever known that asks me for more, based on condition. Makes me feel proud, and appreciated.

I’d do the same. A customer with a high quality, well-cared for collection.

I'm sure a lot of people have spent entire days in there.

One quibble I had with the story was that it mentioned he had "nearly 14,000 vinyl 78s". I wonder if he had that many 78s or if he had that many vinyl lps?

I have no idea, that was over a year ago, and I never asked.

These places get run through by out of state dealers. I'm sure the prices on the walled stuff is book price.

    Have you been there recently?

How have they weathered the Covid-19 “stay at home”...?

No, and it's hard to say. Until the police announced the $50.00 fine for no mask, the majority here have ignored the very presence of a virus, and gone about their normal daily lives.
Even with the $50.00 fine, I'm amazed at the number I see with no masks, in a grocery store ?

I was in Gallatin last week visiting my sister and walked right by this shop ! It was closed though....bummer !!!

I think it was Monday...and seems, whatever day it was, most of the shops on the town square closed that day....bummer !!!!!!!
