I have to give this some further thought myself, but off the top of my head I would like to see Jeff Lynne and Tears For Fears.

My thoughts exactly. Though, at this point, I'd be happy if either of them recorded a new album of original material. It's been 7/8 years for Bob & 8/9 years for Tom. Sheesh!

You never really know when these types of collaborations will be fruitful. In some cases, the artistic egos are incompatible. I will say that I was damn happy with the Robyn Hitchcock / Andy Partridge EP that came out this year (https://www.amazon.com/Planet-Engla...32820&s=music&sprefix=roby,popular,202&sr=1-1), so I hope that they follow through with a full album.

Most of these pairings are self-neutering, too big egos usually equals underwhelming results, particularly since most of these are well well well well well past their prime(s).
