    A post-Fairport Richard Thompson appeared on their 1985 album, ‘Gladys’ Leap.’ Maybe more. I’m sure he showed up on various live albums with the group.

    Kevin Godley - who even sang one lead vocal - and Lol Creme were 'guests' on 10cc album 'Meanwhile...' - it was a Polydor contract filling thing but at the time there were no big issues - G and C had earlier directed the music video of 10cc's single 'Feel The Love'

    G & C sang backing vocals while Kevin Godley took a guest lead vocal on 'The Night The Stars Didn't Show' and made a vocal snippet between songs saying;

    'I am from Polydor records how are you enjoying the album so far...?"

    He also plays some guitar on Night Watch from the PENGUIN album. I guess that was during the time Bob Welch talked about the piece of cheese being in Peter’s beard for several days.

    Mick Taylor on Sweet Summer Sun, specifically playing on Midnight Rambler, and acoustic on Satisfaction, by The Rolling Stones.

    Can I cheat and say Taylor playing on I Could've Stood You Up on Keith's solo Talk Is Cheap ?

    Lindsey Buckingham played acoustic guitar on Fleetwood Mac's "Behind the Mask" on Behind the Mask, and sang backing vocals on "Nothing Without You" on Time.

    Lindsey Buckingham appears on both Behind the Mask (guitar on the title track) and Time (backing vocals on Nothing Without You) as well as Paper Doll from the box set in 1992. Interestingly enough, that means Lindsey has appeared on every FM album since 1975. Stevie didn't guest on Time.

    Christine McVie appears on Bleed to Love Her and Steal Tour Heart Away from Say You Will. That was sort of unintentional as they were recorded prior to The Dance for a Buckingham solo album and were repurposed.

    Probably happened on Frank Zappa albums a lot.

    Only one I'll throw out for starters is Jimmy Carl Black on "Harder Than Your Husband" on You Are What You Is.
