I think is a new mix. Probably an edit of the long version available on the McCartney II archive collection but different to the edited version. Perhaps will be part of the Back to the Egg archive collection...
That was on McCartney's website 3 years ago!! I'm always surprised when I see lines like this... "reveals..."---- REVEALED! 3 YEARS AGO!!
Yeah, but it's not as if the BBC is keeping track of this like we are. He brings it up in an interview, and they think it's exclusive and new. What're you gonna do?

I listened to this the other night, but didn’t notice anything different. What is the difference? And it’s Wonderful Christmastime we are talking about correct?
I observe that the Wonderful Christmastime video is newly available for purchase on iTunes (as is Real Love). Judging from the preview, I don't see any improvement on the video quality of WCh.
I'm not sure about the differences. But I think the mix sounds different after minute 3 than previous versions.
Now on Blu-ray (will be released on February 11, 2020): Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame In Concert [Blu-ray]

Simply love Wonderful Christmastime so please don't shoot the piano player. 'Hidden Meaning' In Paul McCartney’s Hit Holiday Song Is Freaking Folks Out
If nothing else, reading the article alerted me to the fact that I've had the first line of the lyrics wrong for 40 years. I've always thought it was "the MOOD is right".
Awesome! That proves two things - I was a more perceptive 15-year-old than my 10th grade English teacher thought, and the song isn't about witchcraft.
