Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I think we could all use the summoning of a vengeance demon from time to time... It's cool that this particular episode (S6: E14) is inspired from Luis Bunuel's film The Exterminating Angel (1962). Way to go Joss Whedon!
The Dragon Prince (binged the entirety of Season 3) The Boys (binged the last half of Season 1) The Mandalorian (latest episode)
Luck - David Milch's last great project. Starring Dustin Hoffman, Nick Nolte, and Dennis Farina (amongst others!). Now THIS is how aging actors deal with their age! Hoffman & Farina are magnetic, NO de-aging or sfx of any sort, and the story was SO compelling (or it was up until the moment HBO buckled under pressure and shut down production). Milch has yet to truly recover as Luck was truly a labor of love for him. Outstanding!
Most recently watched the most recent Modern Family, the last non-news show left on the upstairs DVR that my wife and I watch together. Later tonight I'll go downstairs where the DC Universe on The CW lives on the downstairs DVR, where I'll be watching Supergirl (or, What If Metropolis Was All Chicks ).
Titans - the finale - Surprises me that on this forum, where comicbook projects are regularly embraced and discussed, that there's NO mention of this one! I'll admit that I haven't seen EVERY DC project that's been put out there, but of what I HAVE seen, Titans is, by far, the absolute best of the lot. Like most of these shows, it can get real 'stupid-hero' at times, but overall, it's got a better bat-story than Gotham or Batwoman (the origin of Nightwing), and a better Super-story (the origin of Superboy) than Supergirl! Jason Todd, Wonder Girl, Krypto!!! Tellyawhat, THIS show should be the centerpiece of the upcoming crossover!
The Twilight Zone - one of my very favorite episodes - "Jess-Belle," from season 4. Starring Anne Francis and James Best. Fantastic; the photography, the screenplay, the dialogue, the acting, the music, absolutely everything about this one is just perfect. It's an amazing work.
I watched all 4 Seasons and I loved that show. Great actors and in my opinion it was great to see a spy series that deals with real world problems (Iran nuclear program, Middle East,ISIS, Ukraine-Russia ect.) and does not use fake names when it comes to states, leaders and their enemies. I thought season 4 started a little bumpy regarding the story but it got its act together and was thrilling as well. I missed Nadia El Mansour a little because she was Malotru's motivation the previous 3 seasons. Spoiler I don't know what to make of the dream sequence in the final seconds of season 4 and whether Guillaume did survive or not. There is a final season so maybe this means we will see him again. I am not sure
currently bingeing both Bosch and Goliath on Amazon Prime. Bosch is great, very involving, Goliath a bit more hit and miss so far IMO.
really...I can't stand any of the current characters except for Mo Collins!...especially Maggie Grace...one annoying character...so self centered and a danger to the group...
