Yes! Just get it done so we can all stop wondering when/if it's going to happen!

I'd settle for a reasonably priced reissue of the previous one. Missed it first time around and not paying £80 for secondhand one!

Maybe I need one too. I was thinking of the 90s 10-disc Bowie set.

Throughout the late 80's and 90's he would always say that the demo of Loving the Alien was brilliant and it was a shame how it came out on the LP. I think that is the Bowie demo I would like to hear most but.... it may have just been words?

I totally agree! Considering they have done other things mentioned by Bowie (ie. remixing/redoing NLMD and Lodger) it's a surprise that the demo hasn't been issued.

I know, right? As I mentioned earlier, once you have the thing in your hands, all concerns about the cost kind of go out the window. :D

Had this for Christmas. Flicked through the book and it looks fantastic.

Tried ripping the CDs with dbpoweramp today with major issues. Couldn’t get Mercury demos disc to be recognised for ages but was able to swap drives for it to rip correctly. But for discs 3, 4 and 5 the last few tracks on each disc are coming up as inaccurate with lots of skips and errors even when activating secure ripping as well. Has anybody else had the same issues or is it a software/hardware issue?

I’m struggling to believe it’s a disc problem considering it’s pretty much identical problem across all 3 discs. I had ripped about 15 other discs beforehand with little to no issue.

I've been able to get an accurate rip of disc 3 now (previously couldn't for final 2 tracks) but I'm totally stuck with discs 4 and 5

Are you using an internal or external optical disc drive? Speaking from experience, ripping with an external drive can be fairly spotty if the drive's plugged into a USB hub rather than directly into the port on the computer.
