What's your fave? Let's keep it to general (as opposed to specific subgenre) mags.

Add any write in candidates in your post

RS, but only because it’s a free read at my library.

This forum is my “music mag”.

I voted for Record Collector. It has a very broad musical outlook, it employs some really excellent veteran writers and it has a nice sense of humor about it all.

Long Live Vinyl is definitely one to watch. They've been putting out some really impressive pieces.

I voted Mojo but I don't read (or buy) any of them on a regular basis. You guys pretty much keep me up to date.:righton:

but find them a bit pricey to get on a regular basis

Used to get Mojo and Record Collector every month but decided to spend the money on other things

I don't think I've looked at a music mag in 15 or 20 years... even then they were guitar magazines, rather than the variety in the poll.

Of those in your list I voted for Shindig!, but would have plumped for Ugly Things if I could have.

I voted Mojo but I read Uncut almost as often. Ugly Things (not listed) is the most fun.

I voted Mojo but also read Uncut.

Uncut has fallen away badly. It used to be a great magazine.

Q is like a musical tabloid.

Mojo and Uncut , but I’m not a regular. My favorite one it’s a Barcelona published mag called Rockdelux. It’s in Spanish, so I don’t think most of this forum members will care to read it.
I’ve also seen great things on Les Inrockuptibles, but I don’t speak French, so it is what it is

Been a subscriber to Record Collector for many years.

Usually buy a copy of Vive Le Rock when I’m back in Scotland, which is about every 6 weeks or so.

I love Vive le Rock, but then it stopped getting distributed in the states, and there's no electronic edition.

I have an iPad subscription to RC which is a cheap and very fast way to get the new issues.

The Wire is the only print (music) magazine I read on a regular basis. The internet provides the rest.

Uncut, but not a regular. The one I like that's not on this list is New Noise. Every month or so I get a flexi 7" from a featured group which is nice. Mostly the internet otherwise.

From it's inception in 1985 through the 90's it was just about perfect, especially '85-'90.
