Quite often actually. They still run DOWNTON ABBEY occasionally, and I've seen a lot of repeats of VICTORIA and POLDARK to name two more recent series that they've repeated.

Cozi is OK. Interesting selection of shows, but they hack them up quite a bit - sometimes they don’t even bother with the end credits. Better to have them than to not, I guess.

Cozi is owned by Comcast, so if you have an NBC O&O in your market, you have Cozi.

CHICAGO HOPE, a medical drama that attempted to compete with E.R. in the same time slot and lost. Nevertheless, after CBS did change the time slot, the show survived for six full seasons with a number of cast changes over those years. It's gotten a DVD release in the UK, but nothing here in the States.

Unfortunately Get TV is not available to me yet. I just checked out their website. A great lineup of shows.

Netflix also has (or had - haven't checked in since New Year) all the seasons of Frasier. With hundreds of episodes in the can and enduring popularity, this one probably won't be disappearing anytime soon.

Sounds like Frasier is still available in most areas, just no longer through Amazon Prime anymore

Just thought of Captain Kangaroo. Don't remember if it was already mentioned or not (I've read the entire thread just not today). Haven't seen the Captain and Mr. Green Jeans since I was a kid.

    Good list. A few comments:

Police Story currently runs on H&I. Tarzan was running on H&I until about a year ago.

The pilot of Longstreet was on Decades about a year ago but I don’t believe they showed the series.

Ghost Busters was on RetroTV, when it was called RTV, about four or five years ago. So was The Bold Ones.

The Mothers-in-Law streams on Amazon Prime.

Tarzan has been on Decades in the last year or two, but isn’t on now.

I am surprised L.A. Law is nowhere to be found. Streaming or over the air. I don't recall seeing it shown anytime except when it was first run.

Probably not enough episodes for syndication / packaging.

TV.com states that it occasionally airs on A&E.

I just looked it up on Wikipedia, and it said there were 15 episodes made, which means you're probably right that there aren't enough for syndication/packaging...

That said, Me-TV airs the "Planet of the Apes" 1974 television series, which only had 14 episodes, and they also used to air "Kolchak-The Night Stalker" which didn't make it to a full season either, so it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibilities for a network like Me-TV to air it, should the owners of the show put it out for distribution...

Also, Shout! Factory has released some titles on DVD that were on for a season or less, so who knows if they'd ever want to package/sell it for the DVD market...

The subject should be more specific. Are we talking syndicated shows, which are no longer airing anywhere? Because if its anything, then there are dozens of shows from every season which have never been rerun anyplace.

So often some obscure channel somewhere is still showing unlikely programs?

Well in that case, is there any channel perhaps rerunning, without anyone knowing, "tales of the vikings" (the 1960 TV series with the crazy theme tune)?
