What's the deal with this guys? I don't get it?.. Some of these prices are just crazy low (but verified as I'm getting deliveries)... What's it down to? Pricing bots broken?

    I got a Jean-Michel Jarre Oxygene trilogy box set (3LP + 3CD) for 70 bucks today ?!?!?! Surely this can't last?

There appears to be a couple of problems in the music department at Amazon Au.

Firstly, the algorithm used for pricing is on autopilot and no one seems to have noticed. It picks certain products and messes with their pricing for weeks. It drifts the price down until a sale is made and then readjusts to RRP. It is entirely unpredictable.

Secondly, no one at Amazon Au seems to understand the nomenclature. Terms like 'deluxe edition', 'SACD' and 'Mobile Fidelity' are important to recognise. But not at Amazon.

I managed to get the coloured vinyl so was pretty happy about that. It's worth quite a bit now.

Can't say I'm a massive fan of live albums though, which is why my copy is still sealed.

Surely an accountant is gonna pick it up sometime soon. Selling less than cost? Not exactly sustainable (but I'll take it, thanks!).

Bricks and mortar stores could end up making a killing by buying from Amazon as opposed to their regular distributor. I just bought 2 copies of Tubular Bells III for $14?!?!
