I'm mostly amazed that Queen and Paul Rodgers put out 3 DVDs.

No multitrack live recordings for 1977, so not much chance of anything from that tour, but DVD could be expanded on Blu-ray.

I still wouldn’t bet on it.

This concept is quaint now. If not out now, probably never will. My answers are the same for every other of these threads.

Concerts for the People of Kampuchea
    Pete Townshend's Deep End Live

Both, by kwinky dink, were originally out on Miramax.

Wouldn't mind Joe Jackson - Live in Tokyo either.

To this day, don't know why oh why Dire Straits - Wembley 1985 isn't an official release

3 too many according to some!

We do have recognise the original recording format and materials for some of these would be far below BR quality. In cases like this rather than release original titles, it would make sense to publish BR's that contain multiple sets.

For me, I'm surprised there's no official live Smiths visual material.

In terms of sell-through VHS that's not on DVD officially, I'm nominating New Order's Pumped Full Of Drugs (though there is a long deleted Japanese/Austrailian DVD), Academy Live, and The Wonder Stuff's Finally Live video. Also The Cure In Japan, The Cure In Orange, the cure play out and The Cure's Show. I'm sure Depeche Mode's The World We Live In And Live In Hamburg is waiting for some future box set reissue programme. Iron Maiden's Donington and Raising Hell (though that was out briefly in the US) are also MIA.

Rush - A Show of Hands

Is it possible to released that concert in Blu Ray? I was shocked it wasnt included in that huge boxset of blu rays they released some years ago.

I'd love to see that too!
Sadly, Genesis is possibly the WORST major prog act in terms of vaults releases

Nearly all the material from the 1970-1975, 1976-1982 and 1983-1998 was compiled from fans efforts

They didn't even bother to correct the speed issues. Same with 'Live At Shepperton Studios 1973', which, on the contrary that 'Live 1976', runs slower than it should be

Here's the speed correct version of 'In Concert 1976'. If FANS can do that, why the band can't?

The special edition DVD was a vast improvement from the previous edition. But that was a decade ago. An HD upgrade with lossless sound -- and surely there are extras somewhere -- is needed badly!

    And here's Shepperton 1973

much better than the version appeared on the Selling England DVD

A full HD restored version would be a no brainer for every Genesis fan!

If the picture quality of the original video can not be ehnanced beyond the quality of DVD, I'm fine with DVD. BlueRay disks are quite delicate and easier to screw up than DVD's.

But if they COULD improve the picture, my vote would be for the Pink Floyd Pulse concert. I had it on Laserdisc and now have it on DVD. And the latter was a very long wait.

I recorded a HD version of this off of the HDNet channel many years ago but since it was off TV it was in DD 5.1, not lossless. But they did master an HD version so maybe there's hope.

There's tons of classic Elton John stuff that has been available in the past on VHS, Laserdisc, CED, etc. but not on DVD or blu-ray. Sure, some have come out but I think he/his team needs to do something akin to the Stones' From The Vault series, with a DVD or blu-ray and 2CDs to go with. They could do Wembley '77, Wembley '84, the full-length 3+hr live in Australia show from '86, Australia '84, Hammersmith '82, Hollywood Bowl '73, Dodger Stadium '75, Earls Court '76, Central Park '80, Rio '95, Royal Festival Hall '72, and on and on and on ...

Plus his music videos and documentaries and stuff like Visions where it's basically the full album of The Fox with videos for each track. I own it on CED but never had a CED player (I highly doubt those exist anymore lol). It was $3, big cover artwork, so hey, why not.

Movie only out on DVD. Watched it last week; pretty rough picture. A BD version would be nice.

It was released in the smaller Rush Replay DVD box. Looks like it was made on SD video. A BD release would be done improvement but it’ll never look great.

And likely won’t, ever. Didn’t Paul buy the rights just to pull it off the market when Anthology was made?
