I forgot that one when I posted about ELP!

GREAT concert that deserves a Blu Ray as well

We'd love a separate release. Same with 'Pulse'

The 'Later Years' box is way overpriced

Scorpions - Live at The Wacken Open Air 2006

The best late Scorpions concert footage. Yet the DVD ommitted several classics

I never really bought music VHS/DVD because most of the bands I liked didn’t have any or they were only in PAL format. But I’d say the Elvis Costello & Burt Bacharach Sessions at West 54th would be one I’d grab. And The Divine Comedy’s Live at the Palladium, I guess, though the DVD is fine. Maybe Urgh - A Music War, though the Warner Archives MOD disc was better than I expected.

there's talk of a remaster and reissue of this.

i had the laserdisc of this, which is good enough quality:

There is only the bootleg version with red sibtitles running over the screen. Awesome performance

Yeah... That, and the other performance (Clearwater?) filmed around that time would make an amazing package.

The Dylan/Petty Hard to Handle video should be released again too.

Fleetwood Mac - Mirage 1982 Tour. It's been released on a grey area dvd. You'd think when they put the Super Deluxe together this would've been included, but we only got the edited audio from that show. I want the full unedited show on Blu Ray!

And as much as I love Kiss, to put the Kissology series on Blu Ray would defeat the purpose as KISS was notorious for shooting their shows on video cassette...not even film, so there would really be no hi-def upgrade. If they could secure the rights to shows that were actually shot on film (Japan 77 show), that would be cool.

Yes, there's been gazillion releases from this one ... but none as standalone Blu Ray

For worse, most of releases suffered from higher pitch/speed. Almost a semitone higher. Here's an example

The director's cut with the even higher pitch Dark Side of The Moon scenes is really annoying. This begs for a decent official Blu Ray.

I'd love to get The Ramones' IT'S ALIVE concert film on bd. I was disappointed it wasn't included in the anniversary set from 2019. Oh, and they'd need to dig up the missing footage and include it (even if damaged).

I'd also love to see The Cramps' "Human Fly" film restored and preserved in HD, as well as any of their many recorded shows released for fans missing Lux's presence (esp. their shows filmed in 3D that Lux had done).

Spot on about Dio. The dvd was ok, but the subsequent blu-ray upgrade was spot on.
Important note; that was shot on film (16mm, but still) - so it can and most likely will benefit from a hd transfer. Anything shot on videotape will not have the same potential.

Why was the pitch off? PAL video editing? Just curious, thanks.

P.S. 100% agree this needs a nice blu-ray. Supposedly Maben has done HD transfers that have been screened somewhere. Yet here we are . . . with nothing.

I think it's probably the same problem as Genesis In Concert 1976

As a comment says, when a film is transfered 25 frames per second, it makes running 4% faster that it was supposed to. Changing that to 24 frames per second correct the speed and pitch

Surely there's a lot of original footage that I'd love to see re-edited to present the complete performance, and not filling with offstage images and China at the time in general. Or at least a 'Director's cut' to choose each version we'd like to see on the menu
