Yeah, I agree, I stopped watching that, 4get exactly what season, thought it went ridiculously downhill & had no further interest.
The Handmaid’s Tale S3 ...not as good as previous seasons. Treme..dvd season 1, got for a buck. Game Of Thrones: 4K Steelbook sigil magnet. don’t have 4K, but also comes with blu ray disc. Only sealed copy left, incentive factor. Pricey sucker.
Late to this, but here goes: Generation Kill. David Simon' s next project after The Wire, about Desert Storm in Iraq. Its about war, but also hysterically funny. Simon's s latest, The Deuce. Porn and prostitution in NY from the late 70's through the 80's. First two seasons are available, final one should be soon, or available to stream. And in a sorta similar vein, only the NY music scene of that time, Vinyl. Only had one season, but I liked it well enough.
I’ll have to look out for Generation Kill (dvd /bd). The Deuce ..I have 2 seasons on blu ray. Vinyl? Was disappointed with this take on the music biz.
Game Of Thrones. Only season 1&8 are in 4K. The complete 1-8 GOT box is incomplete not all discs are 4K.
The Deuce (as in area w 42st)got mentioned in Crusing(1980). Apparently James Franco’s Interior:Leather Bar ( 2013) inspired with the 4hr lost Cruising footage ... William Friedkin said “what lost footage “
You (Netflix). Very addictive, sexy thriller. Very Dexter-ish. Highly recommended. Season 2 just dropped yesterday.
Latest.., Twin Peaks Never seen it when it came out 30 years ago, no tv. Pretty amazing series ...not really dated. Got bog standard complete dvd box 6.00. Tempted to get the From Z to A box, that’s just came out( and limited).
Is the box you mentioned the "gold box" (?) - just the original series? Or the "Entire Mystery" box that includes the prequel movie Fire Walk With Me? Anyways if you are liking the original series I recommend digging further into Lynch's Twin Peaks universe with the Fire movie and the recent sequel to the show. Things get even stranger & more intense with the new series (& it thankfully has virtually none of the high school drama/romance stuff that afflicted the original show).
I seen the movie FWWM in the cinema(1992) when it came out ( unfamiliar with the tv show didn’t have a tv 1990-1995 ) and the last Twin Peaks return blu Ray (2017). So it was interesting to see the actors 30 years younger in the org 1990 tv series. Definitive Goldbox DVD ? Just org tv series. Have Blu Ray of Fire Walks With Me. So in a nutshell I've watched the series sorta back to front.
After a couple of false starts with Babylon 5, few episodes, not happening. I then started UFO this was better, though gave up, tad predictable. Picked up Six Feet Under season 1 ( 20 cents)...looks pretty great so far.
Six Feet Under is a real classic. I didn't read the 41 previous pages, but check out Battlestar Galactica if you haven't seen it. You won't be sorry.
I was excited before I saw Vikings, but after about three episodes of season one, I had had enough and turned to another channel and watched paint dry.
Noticed the 2018 film had a couple of songs that were featured in QT’s Once Upon A Time In ..Hollywood. Prefer -Bad Times At The El Royale myself.
I thought the first season of The Leftovers was creative and original. The concept was interesting and the storyline was good too. However, with shows like this, the writers had no idea where to go with it after the first season and were making it up as they went along. I did not care for the second season and lost interest after a few episodes into the third season. Very disappointing.
Well I watched the complete Six Feet Under and it was pretty good. On the lookout for something haven’t seen + it’s available on dvd ( at least ).
