Yeah, I like it a lot. I've always loved Coverdale's voice but what really grabs me with this box is the beautiful acoustic guitar work. Well played and nicely recorded, it goes down a treat on a warm night.

 

Absolutely...not everyday listening but fantastic when the mood dictates.

Soft Cell - Keychains and Snowstorms 10 CD/DVD career box set ...it’s been tracking down for awhile but today is the lowest it’s ever been at $114.95. It’s deleted on Amazon UK so I expect it’s jump now, if you’re so inclined...and it weighs less than a Bon Jovi box

 

I guess the moral of the story is to be careful when you take a shower

Thanks for this. I was interested in this set but after reading, deterred by the “extreme compression” as reported on this forum. What a shame that they go to so much effort to plan these box sets & then destroy the sound!

Edit: The box set is not on the LWDB, but the singles version is (DR6!): Album details - Dynamic Range Database

 

This is a brilliant album from the Halcyon days of NWOBHM, I have the original vinyl. Japanese CD + 6 extra tracks sounds appealing though
