I just checked and there are tickets available for £125 for every night I looked at.
    I am tempted...

Bear in mind she performs at least a dozen songs from the Madame X album in the shows...

You’d be better off settling down in front of the TV and watching Emmerdale.

I am tempted to go and stuff my mobile down my underpants. Then during the last song start filming it and kick up a huge scene when security escort me off the premises..:D

Well it will be 3 or 4 years looking at the trend of when her new album comes out. So maybe 2022 or 2023?
She will be about 65 then.

Unfortunately your right. I hope she does it sooner. Maybe she'll release a new album and no tour or minimal tour. Just sucks we gotta wait for this debacle to end, regardless I give Madge credit for at least making new music and not becoming a greatest hits act. Unfortunately for her most of her fans want a greatest hits live concert.

Madge and a beer with Katy. A cring worthy but fun moment during the Madame X tour.

But that does remind me of when the Live Nation deal was announced and some people were saying 'surely people won't want to see her when she's 60'.

As folks were saying it seems she physically can't do a tour like this. It was originally not supposed to be like her other tours and then it became like her other tours with a big production plus the physical part as well. Look at Tina. She always moved around but a lot of it was strutting and dancing around without any choreography aside from Proud Mary. She stopped touring at 69.5 years old. I can't think of any other star that physical on stage in their 60's. I guess Kiss would be the other one but they have slowed down immensly in their 60's. And then there is Mick but like Tina it isn't this complex choreography. Mick also supposedly practices singing and dancing everyday when he isn't touring to keep his skills up.
The other problem is that Madonna has injured herself multiple times throughout the years. The horseback ride fall, multiple knee injuries (at least 2x), etc. So that doesn't help the cause. She's pushing too hard.

Absolutely. Injuries have certainly impacted this tour. That said, I don't think that necessarily means that she will stop working. I just think she will adapt the way that she performs. That in itself I think would be interesting.

I remember when she started playing the guitar on stage, I thought that was smart thinking as it meant she could give herself a break from rigorous dance routines.

You have a valid point but when the same people who cringe at Madge made stars out of the Kardashians and are aware of lillywhite red head Ariana Grande spray tanning herself to death, we can't single Madonna out for being fake or seeking attention

I think much like Prince's stipulations, we'll only get unreleased goodies after her passing which hopefully is decades off. She seems to resist nostalgia and I don't blame her

Perfect example was Prince and the physical toll his body took for still thinking he was 26. His hips were killing him from pain of years and years of splits taking their toll on him in older age, and we saw what happened because of the pain pills he started using. I really hope M doesn't fall into the same path given how physical her shows have always been

You may be right, but as I mentioned on another thread, Warner Bros do seem to have a placeholder on their website for a 4 disc Like a Prayer set so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Let us know what you think of the show if you go.

I’m guessing for £125 they won’t be great seats?

If I was shelling out £350, on the other hand, I’d expect to be close enough to smell the Ralgex on her knee.

Perhaps on the next tour, she could offer up a game of Bingo to give her a break from the dance numbers?

Hopefully there's a vinyl edition on the way like the Prince 1999 super deluxe last year. I haven't bought a cd in eons

That ticket you linked to is just for the backstage lounge area and not an actual ticket for the concert!!

I just had that page open so I forwarded it. Someone bought a ticket for £65 this morning I know for sure.
I bet many people who were hesitant and sitting on the fence are taking the plunge after reading the reviews, and also her madjesty not going on stage at midnight.

Like Bob60, I was entertaining the idea of getting a late ticket yesterday if there were some available at a decent price, particularly after the glowing reviews she received.

However, having read what appears to have happened at last night's show I think I will give it a miss. It appears that she was around an hour late and presumably because of the strict curfew, cut the first act (ie 4 songs).

I will definately not be trying for tickets, the whole thing seems so stresful, will she cancel at the last minute? will she cut the show short?
Its supposed to be a set piece show, surely it makes no sense if four songs are cut.
I would be well cheesed off had I spent £500 for last nights show, or even £100...
