Let's ask the $32,000 question*, did or will the California warehouse fire affect RSD this year?

*that way, if you get it wrong, you'll still have money to go home with.

I would say no effect on this year's RSD in April as I would assume the pressings are already in the works.

Black Friday Record Store Day in November may be another thing altogether...

No, but it could have an affect on future RSD product.

Following. Would probably pick up a copy of Roger The Engineer as I don't have that one on vinyl yet.

    Freddy King
    WASH OUT / BUTTERSCOTCH
    Release date:April 20, 2020
    Label:Sundazed Music Inc.
    Syle:Pop , Rock
Freddie King (billed early in his career as Freddy King) was one of the giants of electric blues guitar. The Texas-born, Chicago-bred King merged country and urban influences into a distinctive, stinging style that became a crucial influence on such stellar rock axemen as Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan and the Rolling Stones' Mick Taylor. Although he first recorded in the late '50s, it was his 1961 LP Let's Hide Away and Dance Away with Freddy King that put King on the map and turned the heads of budding guitarists on both sides of the Atlantic. Half a century later, it remains one of the most influential guitar albums of all time. For the first time on vinyl, this single presents alternate takes of the killer King instrumentals "Wash Out" and "Butterscotch," taken from that album's recording sessions.
    Tracklist:
    • 1. Wash Out (alternate take) - Freddy King
    • 2. Butterscotch (alternate take) - Freddy King

It'd be great if they started doing this for all the other sets which had enough bonus tracks for a record. Probably Stand Up, Aqualung, A Passion Play (!!), War Child, Too Old... (maybe), Songs From The Wood, and maybe even Heavy Horses.

Or include all bonus tracks pre-TAAB as a sort of expanded/super-deluxe Living in the Past (replicating and upgrading the original packaging).
