Fami and the Odd Sons I got into these gals and guys through the Refreshments connection which, in turn, I got into through the Rockpile connection some 20 years ago.
St. Mikael has been a virtual one man band making his own brand of home-made psychedelia in Sweden since the 1980's. Great voice, great guitar playing, great variety and the songs all have 100% sincerity. This is one of his more accessible numbers: Then again the following is the meat of what makes him very special to me, and I'm not even a big fan of Pink Floyd/jammy music: ST. MIKAEL - The Veil S. T. michael - calling the djinn
The Caesars "Jerk It Out" Massive mid-00s Top 10 hit in the UK; heavy radio play all spring and summer that year. Their Paper Tigers album is also excellent.
Yeah but after seeing Alice Boman live last night I have to say she's definitely a contender. The tour just started so....
saw her in Melodifestivalen a few times on Youtube, pleasant pop/rock Anna Begendahl - Live and let go
Wow, took until page five to get Tages, SOOL, and Doris! Not to mention my absolute (Swedish) favorites, Komeda:
I like Abba and Roxette. I also like Opeth and Ghost. My musical tastes are like night and day, depending on my mood.
slick 80's sounding tune..... from 2017. A real time machine of a track, back to hair bands Crazy Lixx - Walk the Wire (2017)
I guess this incorporates 3 bands in one.... Work of Art, Eclipse, and Talisman.... nice melodic hard rock W.E.T - Watch the Fire
