The Bowie live really intrigues me. If you read the whole press, there might be some sound quality issues. Has anyone heard a recording of the show before?

Glad to see New Order’s Peel Sessions get released. Hopefully Joy Division’s Pell Sessions will be released soon.

I doubt archives 2 (if we see it) will be released on vinyl. The first wasn’t.

I wish Beck would get in the game.

praying this is the case. This RSD certainly ruins my dreams of taking a Friday off, going to my local mom and pop when it opens, buying Homegrown and heading home to hear it in AAA for the first time. I guess I might be able to do that now except I have to stand in line for hours and hope I get one.

I as well want Homegrown, but that Status Quo of "Ma Kelly's Greasy Spoon" is a priority for me.

Friday Music posted on Facebook that they have several releases coming up for RSD. Please let one of them be The Monkees' Missing Links box set.....

Damn. This is tempting. Though the posthumous stuff is not great.

Whatever pops up on CD that is of interest will be in my shopping basket again this year, plus any other timely on-hand CD/SACD-hybrid items. The stores will need all the more support this year what with the expected/possible upcoming vinyl supply-chain crisis looming toward Black Friday 2020. Though I might expect vinyl enthusiasts to turn out in record numbers this season in anticipation of the crisis fallout.

I expect that the full official list will be published on Friday 28th Feb. via the RSD website and participating stores.

Cool list so far. If Fleetwood Mac follows suite, we should be getting the "Alternate" Rumours this year.

I've heard first week of March, and since they've posted the list on Tuesdays every other year, I'm guessing March 3.

I should have put CD version there. What I was saying was some people might not want to buy the vinyl if they plan on getting Vol 2 later because it will be included in CD form. I thought I cleared that up four replies down from the post you quoted. So sorry.

Hmm, looking good! I might grab these.

Interesting. This is originally part of the Later Years box set. Maybe a sign for more individual releases out of that box later?

    Welcome aboard!

I would guess that there will be distribution problems. There certainly were during RSD Black Friday 2019 and from what I understand, nothing has gotten better on that end.

I would like to know, on the record store day do they sell CDs that are unique for that occasion?

There are always a couple, but not a lot of big titles. The only one confirmed right now is a 2CD of unreleased David Bowie ‘74 shows called I’m Only Dancing (Soul Tour 74). It will also be on vinyl.

My guess is it's the Supersonic singles box set reconfigured for 2LP instead of a bunch of 7" singles.
