A large Panic Buy after the Apollo Fire resulted in the largest vinyl buy all at once for me ever.: I've calmed down now. There are plenty of other things to focus on now rather than what Vinyl's future is. and.....

Jimmy Smith was great! He taught the world what could be done with the Hammond organ and is probably one of the reasons that it continues to be popular in the recording studio. The copy I got was the 2013 "Back To Black" version, mastered at Abbey Road and pressed by Optimal Media. It has the typical Optimal rumble and a slight edge warp. It probably would have sounded better and been flatter had it been pressed by Pallas. It sounds very good so far and I am recording it to my external hard drive for records as I type this.
Took me over a decade to find an original copy of this one, just got delivered: Morphine - Cure For Pain - Natasha Records
That's the reissue I have I will check if I have Pallas or Optimal pressing and let you know, thanks for your message, Floyd.
