Please excuse the totally off topic post but I love your avatar Hutlock! Was just looking at the CD re-release of that album from Cherry Red a few years ago on Amazon yesterday but just didn't want to drop nearly 50 bucks on it! (Was THIS close) Wish they expanded those Felt releases a bit more with extra material when they released them a few years ago.
Thanks man! Yeah, that last batch was totally bizarre actually... the CDs with a 7”, the LPs with no bonus, the crazy price point, the new titles, etc. I think I only have one? I keep thinking they are going to come down in price but so far not really.
Sorry I have zero guilt reading the thread but I do agree with the point you are making although a bit overboard. I do apologize for the toilet paper comment I made a week or two ago, it wasn't thought out and was insensitive.
A real missed opportunity. They should have made this a double album and included most of the Jeff Lynne era stuff.

FWIW as far as ethics are concerned: I see Amazon is still offering "no-rush" options with credits for digital items (movies, music, e-books) which coupled with their de-prioritization of shipping non-essential items may make you feel better about ordering stuff. Either way, this is a deals thread and I've found a couple more to share: Solange - A Seat At The Table - Vinyl: $6.88 (lowest ever) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LXP7I5N Beatles - White Album - 4xLP: $61.90 (lowest ever) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HFZKLBL Greta Van Fleet - Anthem Of The Peaceful Army - Vinyl: $12.98 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H4PM9WS

The Wax Cathedral John Cale reissues are stunning. Cut in house at MOFI by Krieg Wunderlich. But apparently, they mostly didn't sell well. Helen of Troy and Slow Dazzle are both for sale at Music Direct for $10 each: John Cale – Helen of Troy (Vinyl LP) | Shop Music Direct
I have a UK pink rim Fear and a US Sterling Slow Dazzle (and not to mention The Island Years CD collection). Is it worth upgrading, or should I just grab Helen and be done with it? Sadly the thread about these reissues is closed, otherwise I'd ask there.
I picked up Fear a couple of years ago and IIRC there was a lot of sibilance. Other than that it sounded great. I'll have to try playing it with another cartridge next time, but the "shhh" spitty sounds were annoying upon my last play.
