This carefully arranged pile of debris is designed to blend into the corner of your listening enclosure. It's effect defies belief!
This in not a random arrangement but a carefully organised musical happening.

Our highly trained audionaughts will visit your residence and spend at least 10 earth minuets preforming their sonic phenomenon.

Digital Dave - 'it's like I have an entirely new record collection! I would have paid twice the price if they'd asked me to. In fact they did'

    5K USD per pair?
Think I'll stick to getting my scalar waves via hits from the bong.

Don't know if these things work.
    Maybe YES, perhaps NO.

But let's not forget, boys... audiophiling is a game too.. it is, also, playing with our toys...

If it wouldn’t had “van den Hul” behind it, I wouldn’t even had a look on the net. I found a review by a Dutch audio journalist, who visited Mr van den Hul in his listening room with top notch equipment (review in Dutch unfortunately). He claims he could hear switching on and off the device immediately. On, resulted in an even more realistic sound stage, with music become totally disengaged from the speakers.

It seems to work on the principle of scalar waves, which were discovered by Nicola Tesla already. Scalar wave - RationalWiki

Before anyone goes wild, please note that I am just a Messenger reporting what I found. I am not going to buy it!

So it's a device which doesn't actively change the signal but makes it more enjoyable? I believe alcohol, dope or whatever your particular poison will do the same. For less.

It is connected to the speaker signal ( See signal inputbelow) and it sends out additional scalar waves in line with the music, according to van den Hul.

Assuming this is legitimate – a big assumption – without some means to test the functioning of the device, how does one know it's working?

Yes, but it's not in the signal path as such, more a fork. As in, "when my partner finds out how much this costs I'm forked".

As always - provided one can spare the money - order a set with send back guarantee and test it!

    Some questions:

    1. Why does the title say it does not contain "Halogeen?"
    2. Why is there tamper-proof tape across the back of the chassis? I haven't see one of those on a piece of consumer electronics since my cable box in the 80's.
    3. Is this a reactive load on the amplifier? Does it do anything to the impedance? Some amplifiers *really* don't like certain loads...

Of course, to bring The Extender to its full potential you must replace its stock power cord with some more substantial one. Also, put it on aftermarket isolating feet, otherwise it's like not having it at all.
