BUNCHES of great new titles in the Bargain Bin. Does anyone know anything about this pressing? John Coltrane Coltrane Jazz [Import] on DeepDiscount
Yep that’s the same one I have... was hoping this might be an upgrade but it looks like I missed the boat on it anyway. Ohhhh well.
Well I just grabbed these: David Sylvian - Dead Bees on a Cake (expanded edition) David Sylvian - Alchemy: an Index of Possibilities The Cardigans - Emmerdale Solomon Burke - If You Need Me Duke Reid/VA - Here Comes The Duke Brother Dan All Stars (aka Robert “Dandy” Livingstone) - Lets Catch The Beat Treasure Dub Vol 1 Treasure Dub Vol 2 and I only went through about 10 pages of the Blowout Bin. This is my fourth order with DD in the last week!
Honestly didn’t look in either of those categories because I have already dumped so much cash there over the last seven days! I plan to hit the CDs this evening at least. I always feel better putting CDs on my wish list and waiting for a coupon than I do for vinyl. Vinyl seems to sell out a lot faster.
I watch the CD bin pretty closely and over the weekend, they added about 600 new CDs - which was good but not as good as the day this past February when they added 4000 new CDs to the bin. With this latest addition to the bin, I was able to pick up the following CDs: The Jam - All Mod Cons (Japanese SHM) Marlon Williams - Live At Auckland Town Halll Tiny Ruins - Olympic Girls Balmorhea - Balmorhea I think that I may have an issue with the Blowout Bin. This was my 11th or 12th order since last summer. I am always able to find some amazing deals on imports of my favorite European and Australian/New Zealand artists that would typically cost me between $20 - $30 per CD. In addition, I've also used the bin as an opportunity to take some chances on unfamiliar artists which has resulted in some new favorites as well.
Decided to check the blowout vinyl over the weekend, got some really great stuff: In addition to the Ride LP and David Sylvian discs, they had the King Crimson 69-72 vinyl box for $57, the Killers' latest for $8.00, Roger Daltrey As Long As I Have You for $6.20, and Chris Difford "Chris To The Mill" vinyl box (which was only available as far as I know as an Amazon UK exclusive) for $20. (Both vinyl boxes are now gone, unfortunately.) This IsNot A Safe Place - Ride $7.75 Wonderful Wonderful - The Killers $8.00 1969 - 1972 (box) - King Crimson $57.68 Dead Bees On A Cake (Expanded Edition) (IMPORT) - David Sylvian $10.93 Brilliant Trees (IMPORT) - David Sylvian $9.09 As Long As I Have You (IMPORT) - Roger Daltrey $6.20 Collected (IMPORT) - Tony Joe White $11.68 1 5014797896543 Chris To The Mill (Solo Albums Box Set) (IMPORT) - Chris Difford $19.31 Got the shipping confirmation for all items this morning as well.
Can’t find that crimson in blowout guess it’s out of stock now never mind the post said they were oos
Yes, shortly after I bought the King Crimson box it was showing as backordered, so I thought that I might not get it. But it was in the shipping confirmation I received this morning, so I guess I lucked out!
I agree. I have had mutliple problems in the past when looking to buy a specific release. For example I'll put in a band name then l'll look for the release once I get to that band's page but it will not be there. Yet if I search a different way I can sometimes stumble onto it (like the album title without the bandname, even though they have the bandname on the listing once I find it).
Hutlock - The item was removed from the DD website within several hours after my order was placed. The Item number is 4988005678058 and if you search at the DD site, it comes up in the search window but when you click on the item, it now says that this product is no longer available. However, I did get confirmation that the item is in my shipment. I figured that this item would go quickly so I made sure that I had enough for the free shipping and got my order placed quickly. Sometimes, DD will show out-of-stock items as "backorder" and other times, they will just remove the out-of-stock item from the DD website.
i was simply looking for 'deals" (as they call them) on CD's and every single time i tried LP's came up......never did find the "deals" on CD's.
Try this: Grab the UPC from Discogs or Amazon and then search DeepDiscount using that. Also works with ImportCDs, CCmusic, etc.
All recent Springsteen titles except Live In NYC are back and very cheap! I just got Dublin and Devils and Dust for a little over $30 shipped. Grab while you can! Alan
