I noticed a lot of the things I was interested in were out of stock unfortunately. I'm hoping some of it will get stocked again before the sale ends but I won't hold my breath on it.

My mistake, you're correct. Free shipping $75 or more, free item $40 or more.

I have a CD I'd like from LITA but rather not take the shipping hit. In all fairness, it's a confusing sale with the free poster/LP at a different price than free shipping.

Managed to keep my order down to a respectable dollar amount. I finally pulled the trigger on the Lee Hazelwood box set — standard CD version for $56 and the deluxe version on sale for only $86 (normally $215!!!)

  8. The deluxe version is magnificent, probably my favorite box set over the many Bear Family sets.

I have the standard version. Is it really worth it to upgrade to the deluxe? The main appeal is having the complete LHI discography on the DVDs, right? They play back fine I assume (only on a DVD player)? Can you rip the data or do you basically just to use a DVD player when you want to play a full album?

The hardbound book is truly the most deluxe packing I’ve ever seen for a music collection.

Thanks for the heads up. Took a chance on the LH box set, some Free Design and a few others. I've loved LitA ever since I bought their Deep Throat soundtrack CD, one of their earlier releases. :D

Does anyone know where the 20% off is reflected?

Its site wide but it doesn’t include the newest releases or pre-orders. The other prices are reflected right there on the product page for each item.

Yep. I got a bonus LP by Lewis and a poster and songbook by Jim Sullivan.

    Groovy!

Oh, and enjoy that LHI box, man, it's awesome!

My poster was This Heat (which is awesome because on my LAST order from LITA I bought 4 of their LPs) and my free LP was Spooner Oldham! Great stuff man!

Have you heard that Lewis LP? The first one is fantastic, I never heard the second one.

The second one is the one they sent me so I'll be hearing it soon. :edthumbs:

The opening track is quite luscious:

He sounds like a slightly mentally unstable Bryan Ferry.

Varies by weight, zip code, etc. You would need to put it in your cart and enter your zip code to get a quote for whatever speed/carrier you want.

In this case you get free shipping over $40 though, if that helps?

Placed a second order last night, as some stuff that was OOS when I ordered before has now come back in. A lot was still gone but enough was there to get me over the $75 mark. Good times!

I got the Spooner Oldham LP too! And a very cool Kankyō Ongaku poster. I ordered Country Funk II and the tri-color Pacific Breeze comp. Both are outstanding.

Do they send out an email when they ship? I haven't heard a peep since I placed my order on 4/11.
