I see his sold lp gets very high bids. Not sure what other members think but the demand and bidding war is crazy sometimes. I Remember long timeago I went into store selling sealed lps but they were clearly resealed and they were priced very high,

 Maybe a lot of ignorant buyers out there. I know if I was the purchaser it would be an automatic negative feedback if it was a reseal.

Hey Dave -Im the seller "Tipicans" on Ebay -I have been selling there for over 11 years with 5000+ feedbacks... Good customer service is hard to earn these days (I know I buy online and am shocked at the way I've been treated) Many people prefer to buy from a seller who takes care of them 100%-many pay a good premium to insure a satisfactory transaction-Ive bought many an album just to have it arrived destroyed in a padded envelope(50$ lp) Also-My buyers would not like being called "ignorant" any more than your buddies...

Hey Tipicans, I gathered that. Apparently you have been given a free pass avoiding the "New Member" status most have had to go through for some unknown reason.

I'm guessing you have an honorable feedback score on eBay and have justifiably earned it unlike your standing here. Yes, I'm aware that customer service is everything in the media sales industry having my own 100% positive feedback scores here, on eBay and Discogs that no one simply gave to me. It had to be earned just the same as whatever your feedback scores are.

Please look up the definition of the word "ignorant". Just because someone is unlearned regarding something is not an automatic negative connotation. My comment was only regarding our original poster stating there were clearly resealed LP's in a store he went into and there was no mention of you doing the same. I stand by my post.

That's all nice and completely irrelevant to the discussion.

And I can 100% count on you making no actual contributions to this message board whatsoever as you'll be another "post and leave" member which we definitely don't need here anyway.

Nice stuff and most of it looks like true originals still sealed. However, a few (sold) are suspect. I've never seen a copy of Zeppelin's "The Song Remains the Same" without a sticker on shrink. Never. That one and a couple others sound an alarm.

I don't know about the rest, but that US CSN&Y Celebration promo is definitely a third party wrap job. It did not come sealed.

It was counterfeited and it could be one of those, I suppose.

I've had a few and every one sounded like rubbish.

  11. A lot of people may buy and not open, so they'd never know, but I know what you're saying.

Even if one opens it there is not always a way to know. These sealed (records sold by sellers in general) are not trashed records being sold as new still sealed. It's a mint copy, sometimes a promo, and then it is resealed. You would not be able to tell upon opening.

  13. I should've clarified, if they bought assuming it was an original sealed copy say a 1969 Zeppelin II Broadway Labels, but if they opened and found out it was a later pressing 1973 75 Rock label.

Seller never states what they would not be able to know. How can they know if they don't know? They are smarter than that.

  15. I've seen Bobjudick or whatever is ebay name is mention in his ads inside, WE assume this is the original 1841 Broadway Pressing, but we can't confirm but every other copy we've had has been an 1841 Broadway etc... I've also seen Dimagraphy or Dimitrigrpah do the same thing, but he has since changed his ebay name a few times and uses a different ad layout now.

Btw: cool photos, those are great!
