I would say the FP outtakes: When Winter Comes Hiroshima Sky Is Always Blue Stella Mayday Sweet Home Country Girl Soul Boy Cello In The Ruins Whole Life (1995 Version) Let Me Love You Always Hey Now (What Are You Looking At Me For?) And the songs aired in Oobu Joobu and not included in the FP singles: Your School Give Us A Chord Roy Grand Entrance/So Long Blackie After You've Gone S.M.A. Praying Mantis Heart/Mumbo Me Baby 12 Of The Clock I Can't Write Another Song
Also the new Lady Gaga that had already been pushed back and then pushed back a second time to 12/31/20 now listed for May 29th
but on Lady Gaga site there is a CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) DELIVERY ADVICE... so I'll be in a region where they will not ship (Lombardia-Italy)... I'll be very disappointend if a similar thing will happen to something I'm interested in..
Well, since nobody seems to take disk #5 and you have 2 guesses. I’ll add disk #5 to go along with my initial guess of #4
the question from what I understood was not to guess what’s on every disk but to guess which disk might contain the Oobu Joobus
Hopefully we get that 3rd track from the 1992 George Martin sessions: "When Winter Comes". That would be interesting to finally hear. I wonder if it's in the same acoustic vein as the other two. The other two songs done were of course Great Day and Calico Skies. Off The Ground if it ever gets done will be chock full of stuff as it is.
Sunday is 2 months to the day of the planned FP Box set release date-pre Corona/Covid………….. As I mentioned earlier, my opinion on this actually happening improved based on Dylan releasing his new album in the middle of this virus madness. Thanks Bob and hopefully Macca for something to look forward to-"new" release wise!
Everything we know so far thanks to Mike Carrera and Maccawings: - Flaming Pie Archive Collection sets to be released on July 24th. - Among the different configurations: 2CD/2LP/5CD-2DVD and a bigger set. - The bigger set will be around the same price as the Egypt Station Suitcase. - The 2LP set will be half-speed mastered. - Disc 1 is the remastered album, Disc 4 are the Oobu Joobus part 1-6 and other B-sides. - Somewhere in discs 2-3-5: Whole Life (1995 version); Heaven On A Sunday (Alternate take); Souvenir (demo); as well as many different alternate takes, demos and outtakes. It will also contains stuff with Ringo (jams or proper outtakes), and "Beautiful Night (demo)" although it's not known if it's the full length 1986 version that also appears in an Oobu Joobu episode or a completely different demo. - Disc 5 has something to do with the Hog Hill Mill studios and our insiders are sceptical about it. - DVD 1 contains a bunch of video clips, TV appearances and the album EPK. - DVD 2 is In The World Tonight. - The two boxsets will include a replica of a Club Sandwich magazine. - Sweet Home Country Girl, When Winters Come, Soul Boy, Cello In The Ruins, Little Rain, Let Me Love You Always, Hey Now, Dream Come True are not included, though some might be presented under different names.
